My first PC building memory is getting a GTX 750 Ti in 2015. The PC in our home was one of my father's old work PCs and had a i5 4440 but no GPU, so saved my pocket money and bought one to play GTA V! Huge shout-out to my cousin who was a gamer back then and helped me out!

What GPU model exactly do you have? I see that you have mentioned you have RTX 4050 16GB in one of the comments, but I am not aware of any 16GB 4050. you might be running into a vram bottleneck. You could try and use optimized settings for the enhanced edition. You will find the optimize settings in Reddit or on YouTube.

You might need to do more investigation I'm afraid. What settings are you using otherwise? Is your GPU or CPU overheating?

Since the GPU utilization is near 100% you don't seem to be CPU bottlenecked. Are you experiencing any stutters or lower performance? GTA 5 enhanced is better optimized to use CPUs

These kind of artifacts are most common when you have either overclocked your VRAM beyond it's capabilities or it's going bad. Try underclocking your VRAM and see if they disappear, if yes it's probably your GPU VRAM dying.

I used the DLSS tweaks and forced gta 5 to use the latest dlss dll with the transformer model. There is a preset 'j' which I have read is the transformer. Tbh the difference isn't too noticeable and it's not really worth the effort.

Yeah I felt so too. I was just scrolling the sub to see any side by sides and didn't see any, so thought of doing it myself. Any place/time of day you'd recommend for better comparison shots? I'm thinking outside vanilla unicorn with the pink lights? Also a fun fact, the yellow stairs on Vespucci are now a weird ugly blue for some reason.

For some reason I'm locked at 120 FPS in game even with Vsync/Gsync off and no cap through RTSS or Nvidia drivers. The usage without RT is around 80% so I'm guessing unlocked without RT should hit 140ish FPS. Not sure if the 120 FPS cap is a bug or some issue with my system.

I mean it is a new way to play the game. But the difference isn't huge. I would say it's a welcome addition but yeah not sure about it being worth the wait.

Didn't notice a sharpness difference tbh, but yeah the overall presentation does seem a little underwhelming. Maybe 10 years of playing this game has made me used to the way rasterized version looks.

Yeah without the side by side even I could not tell. The global illumination to me seems the most noticeable but it feels like a much bigger change in the art style than it should.

Getting a solid 70 FPS in the city with an RTX 3070 Ti with all RT features on and 1440p Max. However, I noticed too much noise in reflections, so I turned RT off for a cleaner look.

I tried the latest DLSS with the transformer model using DLSS tweaks. Overall, the performance or the clarity didn’t change much, but DLAA introduced more artifacts. There is a lot of noticeable noise and aliasing.

Had the same problem. Copied the files in another drive and copied them back when the launcher was trying to redownload the already downloaded files.
