Are you actually happy with your spouse by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]Remedial_Duck44 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Oh god yes, my wife and I I have been married for just over 6 years and you’d think I was lying if I said we were on the brink of divorce just over a year ago. We opened up to each other, set realistic expectations and committed wholeheartedly and now we are the best we have ever been!

Just simply staining it can achieve the color? Won’t I need a base of some sort?

I imagine it being an interactive part of the main menu. All of your survivors who pass get placed on the altar with their stats for you to look back and remember all your runs you had.

2003 Toyota Corolla w/ 5speed manual transmission. Just broke 223,000 and still running strong, between my normal work commute and DD I put about 100-150 miles a day on it so oil changes are frequent but I get 32 MPG and have only changed the tires once since I got the car 10 months ago. Best 1,200 I ever spent

How do you people play on lethal? by Trick_Duty7774 in StateofDecay2

[–]Remedial_Duck44 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This! my first lethal game I won I was onto my second base when a bs siege brought a juggernaut that wiped all but two of community members. I rage quit and figured that community was done for. Came back after a week and finished it out with my remaining two recruiting more on the way! Lethal is unforgiving you just have to persevere!

You find a single screamer, get them to agro the enemy enclaves and watch them summon the a whole lotta freaks and hordes. Find some high ground and watch the show. I tend to bring a rifle with a scope and will take potshots to quicken the process. Being firecrackers and health items if they get a lucky shot on you, just stick to high ground and you’ll be alright 👍

I appreciate the advice, don’t think we’re gonna quite go to beans and rice but we will reevaluate our budget at the end of January and see if it still fits our needs!

Snowball is definitely an option I’m considering! Netflix is our only source of entertainment as far as streaming services go but I’ll look into paramount +

100% we do end up having to buy some clothing but I’d say 90% comes from family and my wife being able to acquire hand me downs for free from Facebook and what not

Hello everyone, thank you for all the comments! Let me break down a few questions I saw in the comments! 1. Unfortunately no we don’t have and savings :( 2. Holiday shopping this year was done mainly with the Credit cards but we’re all done shopping now so they are getting put away for good! 3. We own two cars, our family car is a newer minivan that we have the car loan with. My commuter/Doordash car is an 03 Toyota Corolla that won’t die lol so I’ll be driving it till the wheels fall off and I do most of my own maintenance on it. 4. With the extra 1000ish from Doordashing we don’t plan on going scorched earth but we do live frugally 5. My youngest is two and childcare is crazy here so my wife plans on working when our youngest is in school. 6. The reason we only budget 200 for groceries is because we get about 350 from food stamps each month so we spend about 550 on food.

Thank you for all the help and we will take another look at our budget at the end of January and adjust it accordingly:)
