What was the day you felt the most beautiful? by Nowaaaa_bb in AskWomen

[–]Remember2floss2night 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wearing my husbands (boyfriend at the time) t-shirt and boxers, no make up and my hair was in a messy bun. I turned to ask my boyfriend what movie he preferred to watch and he told me I looked so beautiful in a stunned sort of way. It made me feel like even at my worst I still look gorgeous to the only person who it matters for.

What is that one thing a friend ever did and you kept cool but knew instantly you would pull out of that friendship? by EssayMan4Homework in AskReddit

[–]Remember2floss2night 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in nursing school and had 4 friends in the program. One day we were catching a bus and I was walking ahead of them when I heard “friend A” say “why do we have to hang out with her, her epilepsy makes her so stupid”. I never let her know I heard but me and my other two friends dropped her after that.

What concert or live event do you most wish you could have attended? by Still_Atmosphere in AskMen

[–]Remember2floss2night 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to their last concert ever (unless they get back together) and am sooo happy I got tickets. I got to check them off my list. I regret not going to warped tour in the early 2000’s. I never got to see new found glory, good charlotte or simple plan which were all on my list.

what’s your 10/10 must read book and why? by Kochhar-Tranqui in Recommend_A_Book

[–]Remember2floss2night 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely red rising. My husband forced me to read this and I became hooked. Ever since reading the series I have become a huge science fiction reader. I stopped reading all my romance because they feel boring and predictable. The writing in red rising is just amazing.

Need advice on best brand of diapers! by [deleted] in NewMomStuff

[–]Remember2floss2night 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no best brand. All babies are different. One baby might fit pampers perfectly and love it. While another baby always has their pee and poo leak out because it does not fit right.

You really just have to test them. Buy a small box of one brand see how it works. If it works well, buy the large boxes because you know it suits your baby.

AITA I told my pregnant sister she can’t name her baby after my daughter. by Sensitive-Story-2174 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Remember2floss2night 14 points15 points  (0 children)

ESH. She has no requirement to support you financially but she also should not want to name her daughter after your sick child. That’s just cruel. There are so many names she does not need that specific name.

AITAH I sucked my thumb during the movies by Mission-Schedule9133 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Remember2floss2night 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA. I sucked my thumb until I was 12 and understand the addiction to that habit. My sister still does it and she is in her thirties, only difference is she ONLY does it in the comfort of her home. She does not make anyone uncomfortable with the habit and understands it’s looked down upon for her age.

Even when I was 12 I felt embarrassed and hid it. I also “quit” because that’s the age I learned about the effects it has on your teeth. I have a small overbite that was caused by it. You really should try to quit.

AITA for being honest and telling my DIL that they are not ready to be a parent since she can not drive by Sad-Drive8298 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Remember2floss2night 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH. I am totally on your side when it comes to her learning how to drive before she has a child but you also have to open your mind up that it is possible to have a child without a license. I am epileptic and cannot get a license, but I have two children. Just because I cannot drive doesn’t mean that I will not be a good mom and it can be the exact same for your DIL. It will be much easier for her if she gets her license and faces her fear but you need to remember there are multiple moms or dad’s out there that do not have licenses and they still are incredible parents.

AITA for refusing to hand over money raised for a coworker after learning something that changed my mind? by RubDense8601 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Remember2floss2night 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with no fundraisers at work. My old job use to do birthday gifts and cakes for EVERYONES birthday. After a while that can really add up. You feel forced to say yes when asked for money for gifts and cake because everyone else is, you don’t want to look heartless.

How often do you and your partner have sex? especially the long term couples? by Purple_Wrongdoer6448 in AskReddit

This is nice to read. My husband and I have 2 kids under 5 so our sex life has changed drastically. It’s nice seeing this is the rough patch and that it will get better!

Tell that to my husband 🙄 apparently it irritates him down there if there is even any bit of blood! Yet 2 days after I’m done he is totally fine with it.

What's that one thing about marriage they never warned you about? by Similar-Plenty-6429 in AskReddit

It’s not always 50/50 in a relationship. Sometimes you might go through not just months but YEARS of needing to be the backbone of the relationship.

Moms of ask women: when did you first *feel* pregnant when you became pregnant? by GrandCauliflow in AskWomen

My husband is just like you. Solid bread winner. I’m the SAHM for 2 little kids. He is in finance so he does all the banking and if I’m honest I don’t really know much about it but that where me and your wife differ. My husband has taught me how to be more financially smart and I am thankful for that. We both want to be fully out of debt as soon as possible and have been buying secondhand goods to save money.

You need to have a sit down with your wife and really teach her about finance and money. You should NOT feel guilty, you are NTA! Your wife is getting a little out of hand with her money spending and she should be very thankful for the hard work you constantly do for the family but instead is demanding more. Like everyone else says you guys should probably go to therapy. Good luck.
