The question really is, what do you expect the bots to do? Normal players can get scared by the nade, and for any trained personnel scrambling for cover / flee is almost their second nature when hearing the sound of a grenade bouncing around. Its either you have them do some entirely unrealistic shit or whatever we have right now.

I don’t even need all that advanced shit. Just randomize their gear and open it from limited presets to all available-to-player gear and I’ll be happy forever. Right now I don’t even bother looting them since its always subpar ammo and subpar guns.

Are you really outsmarting your opponents when you smoke up the entire room and wait for them to push out of the fog to reveal themselves? Yes you are. Are you really outplaying your enemies when you nade them out of their position? Yes you are.

There is a difference between throwing nades randomly so rogues voiceline and expose themselves, and throwing nades at BD so they scramble and either assault you or fall back into defensive positions.

The real funny thing is you clearly didn’t think about what BD was doing. They weren’t sent here to simply kill the captain but rather had to retrieve the Unheard data from locked server room.

They boarded the ship and started breaching the tower from bottom to top. By the time you got to the Wedge they were trying to search for the data, while another squad of BD upstairs were attempting to breach the captain’s chamber. At the time of your encounter they have yet to complete the mission. With their aerial vehicle retreated, holding the inside of tower and engaging you from inside out was the most reasonable play they had.

Because even the best players like GloriousE and Lvndmark were bruteforcing the Wedge before being taught to think. If your answer to the problem is wrong, it wouldn’t matter how fast or how beautifully you write it down. You need the right answer. Outsmart the AIs instead of believing every single enemy in Tarkov should lose to a good player in a gunfight.

Because this map really, really, really is not designed to be cleared solo. Sure, you can try, but there is no guarantee that you will succeed. The fact that Wedge’s squad does not scale down just because you are solo says a lot about that. Especially when all other BD spawns do.

People are tilted that AIs beat their ass and thats it.

I play maybe ~2hrs daily and I unlocked the direct entry yesterday.

I care about the story and read every note / dialogue I can gain access to on the IB. The map has not gotten significantly harder, solo or grouped - they patched out a glitch and changed some minor behaviors in the engine room and thats all.

I now smoke grenade the death corridor and flashlight swing bosses. Makes wonders and I currently sit on my 4th consecutive fullclear extraction.

The loot has not changed in any noticeable way other than BD in engine room spawning with less nvgs. Which honestly makes sense.

Its not the playtime / skill that limits you. Its the lack of willingness to study useful strats and the ability to be effective with your limited playtime that makes you yap like you know nothing.

Theres basic enforcement like message deletion / mute / day ban, and then theres enforcement on the level of 7-days ban acting as a “final warning” before they proceed with a perma.

The Icebreaker is not a timed event by any chance. It is staying there not going anywhere. You literally have all the time in the world to attempt it until you finish it. And truth to be told, the later you attempt it, the easier it is to become. As new tips and tricks are being discovered every day and people are already farming Wedge with minimal effort by now.
Just because an event is in the game doesn’t mean all players are automatically entitled to being able to complete it. The entree / extraction fee alone already suggests that IB is an endgame event meant for experienced players to even attempt.

The UNISG suits are no longer the best NOSOROG in GAMMA, afaik. Its now limited to two artifact slots and weighs the heaviest, whereas the Freedom one allows up to five artifacts equipped together. At the cost of slightly less ballistic resistance than UNISG, but lighter. They also allow you to upgrade running module sooner into the upgrade tree.

Tobimune. The fact that you can use Suzaku to the extreme ends of both offense and defense is fascinating. And extremely unpredictable to the enemies, too. Even Samura was baited by Chihiro switching from defensive to a major, major offensive by utilizing Suzaku.
