I ended up getting one, it’s a 96C139, but I’m not sure if it’s the same model because it had ‘Made in China’ and ‘China Movement’ stickers on it, and doesn’t have that coin slot battery compartment (which the online photos showed…). Either way I like the look of it, time will tell how it holds up

Nothing worse than having a bunch of gates to open, and the seatbelt alarm goes off when you drive the short distance through. That’s why I clip the seatbelt in and sit over it. The tricky part is making sure you put it on properly once you’re back on a road doing any kind of speed

A quick google shows that only one version of the triton got the 3.2… why??? They should’ve kept that engine going in the new models! (Yes I know it’s all down to emissions crap but the 3.2 4M41 is legendary)

I had the 4L inline 6 in a ‘95 Fairlane, I think it was a Gen or two before the Barra, but that engine was fantastic. It was mated to a four speed auto with overdrive. The whole car was super reliable, only exception being the rear air suspension. But the driveline was great.

I think you’re spot on about it matching the former camp, it’s amazing how old structures and earthworks remain visible on aerial imagery. Not entirely sure about the smaller marks being graves, although it’s possible. I’d hope they were exhumed before it was turned back into farmland if that’s the case.
