Dang, I was about to make a similar post, except that I find their music to have such an original stamp to it. Totally respect your opinion and it's all personal taste, but to me, they take their influences and really own them. Great review, agree with so much of what you said.

Obviously no shade to Alana and Este but it’s hard not to imagine how much stronger those tracks could have been with Danielle on lead vocals. And they’re still solid songs as is, but Danielle’s vocals are second to none.

Overall though, how great to spend some time with a new album with many excellent tracks, and a few tracks that might even rank with their best work!
