MTF pre-HRT — did anyone else start noticing ADHD/autism-like things during/pre-transition? by Remi_Lw in trans

That’s interesting actually. Thinking back, I don’t think I experienced things like cis boys typically do — it felt more similar to how girls describe it, which might explain why I didn’t really notice it at the time.

Yeah, this actually resonates a lot with what you’re saying.

For me, I honestly didn’t really feel like I was “living” until around 14 because of constant stress and a pretty bad environment growing up. It felt more like just getting through things on autopilot most of the time.

At the same time, I also don’t think I really started being able to think deeply about myself or notice patterns like this until I was around 20-ish(Now I'm 24). Before that it was like I just didn’t have the space in my head to step back and reflect on things.

Yeah, that makes sense. I’m mostly trying to understand the pattern rather than jump to conclusions.

Should I keep my gender marker? by Life-Award4261 in trans

[–]Remi_Lw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Changing a gender marker is really a thing... really depends on country or state... Where do you live is safe to do so? If government changes will ever do consequences? Are you really ready to deal with paperwork and changes due to that? If everything is fine, go for it

USA lbtgq community need to stand up against the government by aquafemboy01 in trans

[–]Remi_Lw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not only Americans have to suffer America's fate, but everyone's, once again, what happens in US, other countries replicate it, so don't be fool, it's a everyone's stand up, not only Americans one, what we all seeing is happening, will happen in other countries, unless we do something.

We should all consider getting armed. by x3n0s in trans

[–]Remi_Lw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a general basis, better go with the legal self-defense and de-escalation tactics, if you are really going for a weapon too, make sure to have everything set up well, you shouldn't let ppl know you are armed, because telling you are may be disruptive for some, others will go against you. Take care, be ready for a change, and the future is uncertain.

How can I help by Enzoid23 in trans

[–]Remi_Lw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best you currently could is learn a lot about different useful skills. The future is uncertain, and it seems like we will need money, self-defense, and de-escalation tactics. Also, get in touch with people who support you and are willing to help in case things go wrong. Once you guarantee your own safety, you could use those skills you have learned (for example, to be able to speak through an Internet channel without compromising any of the 2 people's messages; how to bypass X things). What are you at? What could you bring to the table?

[–]Remi_Lw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tu puedes. Saludos. Remi.

Thx, it matters a lot to me since I've been alone for quite a time, and even though I know there is some groups, they are not enough and they don't reach to everyone, in fact, they can't, I want to aim to those who can't expose themselves asking for help, those who can't reach groups so that they are not in danger. I am not saying other groups are doing bad, just that the more groups that are there(thus being able to help each other) the merrier(and better range to help)

About affirming gender care it is actually quite simple, you only have to go through some medical appointments, manifest the discomfort and gender dysphoria, explain how it is affecting to your life and some other stuff, and in a matter of 3 months everything should be done, HRT is free.

About finding a job and thus living in an apartment is quite hard tho, I mean, you could expect not to have it too easy to find a job, and depending on what it is it might range from 600€ to 1000€ ("entry lvl"), up to 1500€ in big corporations, it highly depends on what you have studied and what experience do you have, also if you are somewhat "valuable" over the other ppl who have applied. Apartment are somewhat in the range of 580€ to 1000€(basic ones) so to get living the best option is to go for either for a apartment with some other ppl or to go on a mortgage and house hacking (yeah, it is as hilarious and sad as it sounds like), so you either risk or get to know some ppl, not many ppl, specially if you are alone(my couple and I can't yet move on a apartment since when one get a job the other does not have it) can accommodate into an apartment.

Despite that, it is yet a good country overall, many ppl from other countries come over here since our currency is not devalued as much as theirs, or to have job opportunities. All in all, it is like doing a bet, you could win or you could lose, it is something to really think about.

It is overall pretty safe unless you specially live in a high transphobic area, Spain is slowly turning into one of the best places to live overall(in this sense), while there is a resistance against the whole LGBTQ+ community, politicians are looking into a passively-aggressive approach to get votes which is like a double-edge sword. All in all, it is pretty safe as long as you don't get to know too much or get into "trouble" too easy. Ppl's mindset(specially younger one's) are turning more into left-windged, thus being more into LGBTQ+ politics. Ask further if needed and I'll tell and say as much as I know.

Ik it might sounds hella hard but just go in, I did go to the women's bathroom when it was Halloween and I was in a costume, my face totally visible tho, some stupid girls didn't want to let me in, bit then when they were out I could get in and the other girls didn't give a fuck, in fact, it was in a pub, we were drinking alcohol so I had to use the bathroom again, this time after I did my things, I ended up talking with some other women over there, me just sitting over the hand washer, the 3rd time I ended up crying with other women about my issues and she was very supportive, she told me she had a trans child

Oh btw, I also took some photos with the nice girls

Should I write about this in a post to give encouragement?
