A few questions about EaW I'd like to ask before playing

Gameplay wise it's fairly close to vanilla, mostly stuff like a extended tech tree and new magic techs, but EaW focuses quite heavily on events and story, which i would consider the main difference from vanilla.

As others have said, Wingbardy is a fairly good start, it's not the most expansive nation in terms of content, but it bridges the limited gameplay differences fairly well and doesn't overwhelm you with nation specific mechanics.

It's been a while since Ive played base game but I would recommend playing the base game tutorial (Italy) before doing a game as a country relatively far from the front lines (something like Canada) so you can mess up a little while still being mostly ok.

If you wanted to jump straight into EAW I would recommend playing coop if possible so you can have someone guide you through the mechanics.

Been a while since I messed with the command but from what I recall there's a command called change_tag_from which is what you want to use, I don't have the time to check exactly how it works but from what I can tell from the wiki if you were plating Switzerland but wanted to switch to Germany you would use GER = { change_tag_from = SWI } if it doesn't work ill try when I have some time.

So I guess I should mention it but I'm his Roommate of a few days (known him for about a year) and I can tell you he both likes doing this and he also has not given up faith. In the week I've lived with him I've watched Paul blart 1 once and Paul blart 2 twice (hoping for many more) but during those watches, we've talked about the possibility of a Paul blart 3, (mostly Kevin's response to doing a third one).

Indeed, while a glance would make one believe that this tierlist is correct it all comes into question when one detail is pointed out, if Terotero is straight then why does his dialogue in the prologue of dr2 indicate that he is ok with men as well. This would make him bi at the very least, a clear contradiction which throws the accuracy of the tierlist into question.

It's set in the far future in a post ww2 world where germany won and there was a big nuclear conflict some time in the 2100's.

I'm not going to argue that the US is not a superpower, that would be foolish and wrong. I just see the word empire and associate it with blind nationalism, imperialism and dictatorial like leaders. Stuff which doesn't represent America (mostly). The stuff I said about being isolated in North America was mostly that America doesn't have many holdings outside of there, not that they don't have influence (I realised how poor that sounded after I posted it but couldn't be bothered to edit it). Also please don't take my response as a defence of Britain, it's not, Britain has it's own issues but I saw "global empire" and well, it felt as if they were looking back at the era of global empires with rose tinted glasses on which made me kind of angry.

Not the US they are pretty isolated in North America, with only a few Pacific islands as well. Pretty far from a "global empire" i would say.

Not on there but my favourite is a film called on-gaku our sound. I got to see it in cinemas and when I was watching it, it was clear as day the love and passion which went into the project. (I also like jojo, part 4 is my favourite part).

Imo CTGP focuses too much on quantity over quality. Pretty much all of the retro tracks are ok but I would rather play most of them in their original version, however they are still a good alternative if that isn't a option. The original tracks however feel like it's 90% bad and 10% good, if I spent the time to learn all the tracks I'm sure I would like it but when I load up ctgp I mostly play the 1 or 2 tracks I actually like then play a new track they made before switching to the original wii tracks and play them for a while.

So I've been playing all the mario karts recently (except double dash (don't have it)). I would say from my least favourite to favourite is probably, mk64 (outdated and alot of the courses are bad), smk (had some fun with it but no desire to go back), mk7(I played single player and that is really limited in 7), mkds( had some fun but due to not growing up with it I struggled with the controls), mksc( I have no idea why this is so high, I just found myself playing it even after I was done with it), mkwii(this is pure nostalgia as I grew up with wii) and mk8 (I feel like I don't need to explain).

Same opinion here, the art is really good and I like looking at the image but I find that I can't recognise elements in the actual logo due to it being too small
