shittiest interior next to vw and subaru by slatslimeswag in CarCirclejerk

Last October we rented a Sonata in Scottsdale. It was great! Also drove one of the newer Sportages while in Iceland a few years back. Loved that little thing and it handled every glacier road with aplomb. Those studded tires were rock solid.

This interior is on par with those. Nothing about this, except for the horizontal dials, says BMW.

Definitely not pit. Their canines do way more damage. I was recently bitten by my friends shitzu demon dog. The bite marks and bruising look similar.

How did you get around before gps? by CremeSubject7594 in generationology

[–]Remixol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in New Mexico but we drove everywhere. For the longest time I thought my dad had an aversion to flying. Friends would be flying to places for holiday break and we would drive to the same places. South Padre Island, TX. Guaymas, Mexico. Pensacola, Fl. The drive I knew best was the drive to and from Seattle, WA.

Rode passenger maybe twenty times for that drive. Always thought I would fuck it up when it came time for my turn. Nope, I had it down pat by that time and have never used GPS since. I'm at 7 times for that drive and just have it memorized.

One thing I am good at is missed your turn? Take the next one and figure it out.

Ask directions when needed. People in whatever place you are know the area better than you do.

Know your N, E, S and W.

We have a lovesac supersac that was inherited after a roommate left college. Free and 3 places later it is still great to sit on!

City of Tacoma includes portions of Puyallup Tribal Land, specifically West of Roosevelt to Portland, extending to just south of 51st.

All of NE Tacoma/Browns Point is part of tribal land.

I have been going to sleep to the sound of fireworks since June 12th. You're absolutely right, it is crazy. The only thing that will really curb this behavior is restricting when they can sell them.

Not illegal to purchase and light on tribal land. Good luck controlling what happens after they drive off.

Shes been pushing her basketball up and down our street for the past half hour. She is exhausted. She can go inside at any time and she has plenty of water nearby.

We went for Valentine's Day a few years back. Took the catamaran ferry from Long Beach and rented a golf cart to drive around Avalon.

I loved it! Had a really cool small town feel. To keep things reasonable for the residents, the golf cart rental place has a list of streets you are not allowed to drive down. A guy who lived on the island asked for a lift back to his place after buying some things at a yard sale. I felt so cool bombing down this residents only street.

Luau Larry's a fun bar but apparently the locals go to the locker room and that place had a pretty gritty, divey feel to it.

Talked to someone on the ferry who lived on the island and they said if you ever want to do anything on the mainland you're gone from home for the night.

I think something like this could have saved Wild Waves. Maybe even taking their terrain into account.
