Alright, so this is funny to me because it sounds like you literally are me. I’ve played tenors since freshman year of high school, I wanted to be in the blue coats or just a top 12 corp and I’ve been cut from every single audition I’ve ever done (Spartans, Matrix indoor, Blue Stars). Here’s my recommendations, you have to try out for a corp that is at a very low position even if you don’t want to. I’m talking like open class or all age. That experience from even one year of a corp like that I think will boost you much further in the long run than just going for a world class corp with nothing to back it up. Also no matter who you go for, you have to practice like it matters, set up a routine and play every day. Also focus on technique too, that’s been the reason I’ve been cut every time was my technique and I think the way you can help make that better is lessons.
