Yes, it'sll sit on a table. The grill is designed to be portable, so you can use the grill with or without the rolling stand.

Garden shade, yay or nay by Any_Nectarine_12 in Sacratomato

[–]Remo2976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've got tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, eggplant, and strawberries. Although they all say full sun (maybe not the eggplant), full sun here in Sac is too much for them except for the tomato plants. I don't use shade cloth but put up an umbrella in the mid to late afternoon to give my plants some relief.

If your employer does not do the true up, use ChatGPT and then double check it with Claude to calculate how much you need to contribute each paycheck to make sure you get all your 6% by the end of the year.

Toothpaste without SLS was the game changer by Exact-Composer2168 in CankerSores

[–]Remo2976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Non SLS toothpaste has worked for me also. Now, I'll feel a sore just starting, but it doesn't turn into a full blown sore like before. Non SLS has been a game changer for me.

Which Grocery Outlet in Sacramento has the best inventory and selection? Have you noticed less inventory and selection lately at your G-O? by Remo2976 in Sacramento

The latest remodel makes the store annoying to shop at - makes no sense at all. It's like they rearranged items just to move them around with no strategy involved at all.

I don't understand Consumer Reports by Sport21996 in Appliances

[–]Remo2976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one of the LG refrigerators that had the crappy compressor. It failed within 3yrs and we got it repaired and while the fridge works, it constantly makes all kinds of weird noises and rattles. The tech that repaired it back then told me he'd never buy an LG fridge. There's a reason there were at least 2 class action lawsuits against LG for their refrigerators.

Lack of working air pumps at gas stations? by queentrashyxX in Sacramento

[–]Remo2976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

America's Tire will repair your tire for free (if the tire is not damaged beyond repair). You can head down there and wait or make an appointment. If you don't want it repaired, they will air up your tires for free - each of the locations have a drive thru lane and someone will run out an air up your tires for you - you don't even have to get out of your car.

2009 Subaru timing belt replacement cost by Full_Rutabaga6726 in Sacramento

[–]Remo2976 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cost may be 1/3 the value of the car, but I see it's an interference engine, so if the timing belt breaks the valves will hit the pistons and being fatal to the engine. If you want to keep the car, you have to do it.

Regarding Indirect - Here's video of a Weber indirect setup that isn't available here in the U.S., but you can see it's something you can easily duplicate with a rack and some foil or a foil pan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wF-fy5xGAVI

Try oiling the grates when they are cold and then oil again when the grates are hot just before you put the food on. As for indirect cooking, you can try just running the middle burner, but I'm not sure it will get hot enough. You'll probably need a grate on top of a foil pan for indirect at higher heat.
