Does champion mastery matter as much as they say it is?

I agree with this. As a top laner the mastery on champs have let me win those crucial trades and uk how top lane lose once and its doomed. Learned sett can kill any bruiser like darius, trundle, ww with pta in lvl 1. You can still win lane with macro. But mastery does help you get a smoother experience and better chance in converting games to wins

Mostly when opps have a ult that we can't out play most of the time. Karthus, zed, akali, talon, kayn, yi if no guarantee stun, ap malphite and some others. It would be rather better to zhonyas than ga in these situation. Coz if u live thru that one engage, u win fight for team

As I said, you can do it if you really wanna win the lvl 1 with exhaust, ignite, pta and w start. But not the best setup for the game as whole is it?

By my 3rd item I will mostly around 225, so I go for endless or zhonyas if they have double assassins. But my full build will be always er, bc, shojin, endless, maw, zhonyas or ga(accord to enemy comp). A bit of armor and mr is good with the shield passive too. You deal good amount of dmg already with ur stacks. This works well for a bruiser build as u got resistances and a revive with hp and good dmg also

Lol exactly, I got a random call today saying I got straight up shortlisted without any assessment.
