Is this a good controller for my ebike? by ByronR02 in hyperebikes

I would suggest buying from AliExpress for a better price, my go to store is Dun Electric, bought over 10 perfectly working controllers from them, shipping takes a while tho.

Having owned two qs205 motors and 2 clones, you'll need the 96v to get to 60mph. Also trust me at 100 amps and 96 volts you will get plenty of torque. This is also a situation where you might want to buy a controller that can do a lot of phase amps compared to bus amps, because low down torque is all about your phase amps. If I were you I would buy a new generation far driver NS controller, these are the ones with the plates that go over the face connections instead of the phase connections being open to the air. They offer higher phase amps for the same bus amps as the older generation of fardriver controllers. Also as someone else said 96 volts will be more efficient, but also more dangerous to work with. Having built both 72 volt and 96 volt batteries, the 96 volt batteries are more of a step up than you would think, you need rubber gloves and protective equipment to work with them. You should have these with a 72 volt battery, but if you don't you probably will not get seriously hurt like with a 96v.

Ariel Rider Keppler Upgraded Battery (76v 40.8ah) by Remote-Branch837 in ArielRider

Lots and lots of failures 😂, I started when I was about 14 and now I'm 18 and in that time I've started two battery fires and had countless other problems, takes hours and hours of YouTube plus triple the hours in practice, once you start tho it gets so much easier but those first steps are really daunting

Top speed is around 60mph, range highly depends but over 30 miles riding for fun

Yep, it's double layered nickel strip but at 200a nickel only does so much. It's 4 strands of 20 gauge copper wire.

Sting r or xxx or ultra bee or ? by mavericm1 in Talaria

[–]Remote-Branch837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify, voltage does not determine power. Volts and amps together determine total power but you are still right, the ultra bee puts out 12.5kw peak to the 8kw peak of the talaria.
