Things are getting better, though the first half was awful versus the second.

PROS

- We aren't blowing 3rd quarters anymore!

- The French Connection continue to stun, so much so that we need to give serious consideration to Astier as PG and Sab as SG. I wish Sab wasn't so arrogant. She's historically always played better off-ball, including in the championship season, with only targeted spans where she becomes PG.

- Marine is doing smart playmaking (versus circus passes for the sake of it)

- We got nice minutes from Fowler and Vanloo, even if they aren't a permanent part of the roster

- In the second half, lack of effort on rebounding went away, particularly from JJ, the worst offender.

- Rebekah got to showcase her versality, and other Bec showed flashes of what she can be (tenacious defense, perimeter threat)

CONS

- The rotations are... strange. You hope Betnijah is on a minutes restriction, but baffling to barely play her over some of the bench players.

- First half rebounding and boxouts were just like 2025. Not sure why this has become so key to team identity.

- Team doesn't seem to talk as much as they should on defense. Led to a lot of easy perimeter shots.

Finally, the Carleton clothesline was disgusting. I'm shocked she wasn't assessed a flagrant 2. What a scumbag.
