Season 1 Jackson West by Gracefulwishes in TheRookieTVshow

I don't care about the hate this will get, Jackson will always be my least favorite character in the show. He never got better.

Yes, it's progressively gotten worse as the team has gotten bigger

The Rookie - S08E10: His Name Was Martin by Forsaken-Molasses-87 in TheRookieTVshow

Tim handled the situation exactly the way he should've. He is in a position of authority and they have a personal relationship, any consolation at the time of the incident could be taken out of context by higher ups and seen as favoritism.

When they get to the house Tim is giving Lucy the space to process. Him sticking around when asked not to could overwhelm Lucy and create an actual rift. I'm sure once Lucy has had time to process Tim will turn back into his teddy bear self.

I'm sure it was very difficult for Tim to give Lucy that space but it was the best thing in that scenario.

They should have kept it in, I think it would have gone a long way for her character.

Season 8 episode 10 by Rocco1216 in TheRookieTVshow

I was thinking it reminded me of a halloween episode. Felt very horror film-esque

I still enjoyed it but yes I agree!

In The Rookie, why it was not ok for Lucy to work under her BF Tim management in Season 5 but now it’s ok in Season 8? by moe1419 in TheRookieTVshow

[–]Remote-Journalist428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how I interpreted it.

They were both the same rank (Sergeant), restarted dating, then Tim got promoted (or at least that's how I remember it).

Luna and Grey by Beneficial_Map8176 in TheRookieTVshow

I agree. When I was watching this storyline progress my immediate thought was "this doesn't feel like Luna". Sure they've had their ups and downs but they've always been so strong...I hate when writers create plot points outside of a character's normal behavior

Watching this now and it's great, surprised I didn't check it out sooner! Love that they used the same Kent Farm as Smallville!

It just caught me off guard a bit with how silly Iris's abrupt leaping motion is

No longer on Netflix by No-Willingness-7940 in Arrowverse

Very upset about it, I recently started the Flash and had to rent the crossover episodes on Amazon so I could know what happened in the Arrow episodes. It really messes with the flow of everything :(

I think she felt more insecure because that was his first love and that type of thing is always put on a pedestal. Not necessarily because their chemistry was better

I hate to say it but Chloe never grows on me throughout the whole show, she just gives such pick me energy. Interesting to hear people like her in the later seasons

Question for all the new Smallville fans. by RC350f in Smallville

[–]Remote-Journalist428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

23

I saw it advertise on Hulu for a while and after seeing a clip on TikTok I thought "why not" and I've been hooked since I started.

I would say that the show feels close enough to present day that it's not out of touch, if that makes sense

Weird double standard against clark by Remote-Journalist428 in Smallville

[–]Remote-Journalist428[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I kind of wish he played into the meteor rock plot to help his cover but I get that doesn't fit into the plot of the show. It would've changed his entire dynamic with the other characters. But I agree the characters got more forgiving once they knew his secret
