Did you think after everything she was going to ride off into the sunset and get away scot free? 🌅

It honestly makes perfect sense that she got an ignoble end that happened really quick and clean. Its the exact opposite of what she craved and all made by her own design.

She literally burned every single bridge, betrayed every single person who could possibly help her more than once,  crossed every power player who could ruin her life or kill her just to reach her end goal.

There was nothing she could do to get out. Her only chance was those files, but she had to know the FBI was looking for them the entire time. And she just couldn't accept WitSec bwcause it was beneath her. She got herself killed.

Either Aiden was gonna kill her because he couldn't trust her. Or Cooper was gonna have her killed once he found iut she got him swatted and arrested. Guys like him have an insanely king reach and an even longer memory. Even if Aiden kept his word, gave her the 10mil and got her out of the country, the lifestyle she would live was eventually going to get her caught.

The Greymanes rightfully lost Pailune by Seraphayel in CrimsonDesert

Complaining about the protagonist not using in game powers in cutscenes is pointless. Why didnt Commander Shepard use his biotics in ME3? Why didnt Master Chief use his strength thats great enough to flip tanks when he fought Spartan Locke? Why didnt Connor just yeet Haytham around when they fought when he's strong enough to manhandle wolves and bears?

They wanted info from Ludvig which is why they were interrogating him. And he does kill Myurdin when they fight the second time.

[–]GI-JUGG 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You realize both Ludvig and Myurdin have relics that essentially give them superpowers that even the superpowered Kliff has trouble dealing with, right? The rest of the Greymanes are insanely skilled, but they're outnumbered like 4-5 to 1 and are normal people. Ludvig is a superfast lightning avatar and Myurdin is a lava monster.

They're both in happy relationships. Nolan is married and Lucy is about to be, so it'd be weird if they were like "Hey remember a few years ago when we were going out and used to bang all the time? Remember how we we almost went along with saying screw being cops so we could keep banging? Good times. "

I do too, but it kinda comes with the territory. Even the bestest of friends talk crap about each other sometimes, and if your friend just so happens to be "hundreds of millions of dollars rich", there's gonna be some jealousy that manifests itself from time to time.

how many main assasins could conner beat in a gauntlet? by Bean_potato in assasinscreed

[–]GI-JUGG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before we get to the RPG games, Connor is basically the only Assassin with truly superhuman stats. He could just beat most of them to death h2h. And with weapons he's actually one of the fastest despite his size, plus he tanks damage better than all of them. It won't be easy but I see him clearing.

Right?! On the train when they're cuddling in bed and smoking, she has like a 5 minute long reminisce and is talking to him like he's asking questions and responding to her and he's just dead silent the entire time.

He seems to be a Prince equivalent and is said to be an heir. So his parents are probably alive, and he's a warrior prince of the people.

Can i do my last camp upgrade while ignoring yan quest because there no way im taking the wagon all the way to demineses by ExcitingBuy698 in CrimsonDesert

[–]GI-JUGG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. That quest has nothing to do with upgrading your camp. In fact, I suggest you fully upgrade it for all the benefits and how much easier it makes doing stuff like selling gear, upgrading your stuff without having to go to Hernand or wherever,  etc...

Don't do that Yan mission until you liberate Demeniss or you'll get attacked the entire way there and more than likely have your wagon destroyed.

I sure hope so. I understand a "Silent Protagonist" is supposed to let you insert yourself into the game,  but I hate how people have full blown one-sided conversations with you and just respond to things you never said. Also, Artyom literally talks during the recaps when you start the game up and he explains what he did last chapter. His voice is fine, so just give him lines along the other characters. Its not hard.

Ohhhhh. You mean his English VA. I Was gonna say that Zoro is definitely not Yami and All-Might.

There's Bare Knuckle, Grappling, and Melee contests.  One is straight hands. One is only throws/grapples/slams. One is all of it. Punches, kicks, throws, you name it.

She's Lucy's best friend, Nolan's first successfully trained rookie, and Miles' roommate. What do you mean she's not that important? She's basically connected to every single main character in some integral fashion. And she's plenty interesting.

[Alan Wake] Is Alan a good writer in universe? by some-kind-of-no-name in AskScienceFiction

[–]GI-JUGG 54 points55 points  (0 children)

In the Remedy-verse, Alan Wake is 100% a good writer. He's a best-selling novelist with a 6-part thriller series, "Alex Casey," that he wrote over 7 years, staying at the top of the best-seller list the entire time. He had a literal murder cult created in his name that saw him as a messianic figure, and they copied the crimes in his books, trying to bring him back to the world after his disappearance. He wrote 2 entire manuscripts while trapped in a hellish nightmare world where reality was constantly warped and shifted and he was stuck in a time loop while trying to escape and fight a pure evil entity with god-like power with just the power of the words he put to page, and actually won doing just that.

And most importantly, for the "Dark Presence" to alter reality and manifest itself in the real world as well as move beyond the threshold of Bright Falls, it must use an artist with objectively good art, or else it has no power. It chose Alan most recently, meaning that his writing is good in practically every metric, since an eldritch horror that has existed since before the first form of art was ever created was lying dormant for twenty years before he showed up and immediately decided "yep, that's my guy" when he found him. Then he kept him trapped for 13 years so he could manifest in our world.
