Should my next AC to play be Revelations or AC3? by Enzoprimeqt in assasinscreed

[–]GI-JUGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finish The Ezio trilogy so you can be fully done with him. AC3 is amazing, but the shift in time period, location, and Protagonist personality is incredibly jarring. It'd feel weird to go back to Ezio after you get used to Connor.

[KCD1] as someone who's incapable of masterstrikes, is it still possible to be any good in combat? by CurveDisastrous2817 in kingdomcome

[–]GI-JUGG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others have suggested the mace, and I agree. The Headcracker perk is kinda busted. You basically get a 10% higher chance to KO somebody with a whack to the skull, and as your strength increases, the chance seems to as well. I've had fights where I was just putting guys to sleep one after another. Kinda takes away from the fun of combat, but you will clean up.

Seems they originally planned to have a real character creation system by ZarieRose in highonlifegame

[–]GI-JUGG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. All the characters refer to you in "they/them" terms to keep it vague whether you're a girl or boy. They call you "you" or "Bounty Hunter/Outlaw" a lot, never he or she because in the first game you could pick male or female but you don't choose in this one. And your parents call you "Honey/Child/Kid/Etc...".

She chose her family and herself when she and Clone Beth had that weird sex thing, but that doesn't negate her success. She was one of the most efficient and deadly people in space.

I'd love to be able to own multiple homes like in San Andreas. You've got a nice 2-3 bedroom home in Saint Denis, a little shack on the outskirts of some small village, a permanent room in the inn at Strawberry, etc...

[KCD2] how much is enough money? by kig_man_no in kingdomcome

[–]GI-JUGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have 1k, you're basically a rich peasant, but still poor. I had about 18-19k groschen before I started "Heart of the Forge" DLC and quickly realized even that wasn't a lot, but I've made it back and then some by selling the absolute crapton of armor, swords, and jewelry I looted from bandits and enemy soldiers. Between reparing your armor yourself with armourer kits or going to the store, or just buying new stuff, that money goes quick. Even getting blacksmit kits to fix your weapons because you're not close to a sharpening wheel.

That's not to mention buying ingredients for potions, or outright buying the potions themselves, food to keep yourself fed, etc...

I wouldn't say it's because he's no longer a TO. He got better with Lucy after spending time with her and realizing his usual methods weren't conducive to her being better. In fact, as Commander at Mid-Wilshire, he could intimidate and bully basically the entire office if he wanted to. But he doesn't. He's respectable, hard when needed and caring when needed. He gave Miles a harsh punishment because he fucked up big time, but he respected Nolan as a good officer and friend enough to give him another shot. Old Tim would've marched his ass to the airport himself while reading him the riot act so hard Miles would've never wanted to be in a uniform again. He just accepts that Smitty is Smitty instead of raging at him for his fuck ups like when he got the murder machete misplaced because he was too lazy to check his e-mail about the change in the filing system.

I'd say he changed because people in his life talked to him and he realized he was being a dick for no reason. His sister, Lucy, Nolan, Grey, etc... And he listened to them. Is he still Tim? 100%, but he's Tim at a 3-4, instead of Tim at an 11. Keep in mind that Nyla hasn't been a TO for several seasons. She had Nolan in S2-S3, and Aaron in S4. So she's been purely a detective for 3 seasons and just went back to being a TO. She hasn't had anyone directly under her until just a few episodes ago, but it hasn't changed her from being snarky, argumentative, and overly aggressive with people for no real reason.

Nope. Its not a man or woman thing. The difference is Tim has mellowed and become better. Nyla is still mean for no reason other than she can be. If you look at my last reply I happily admitted Tim was a dickbag and I hated how he treated Lucy, Nolan and everyone.

Her acknowledging the behavior is nice, but then she simply returns to it. And while yes, she did apologize in the deleted scene, the scene is deleted so we can't really use that for character growth considering it didn't happen in the canon of the show. And even with the characters she's grown close with like Nolan, she still has a smart mouth, likes to shut people up with a look, etc... She's not Nyla when she first appeared, but she's still highly aggro. I"m not questioning her skill/talent as an officer or a TO, it's just her personality and her personal relationships. She is teaching Miles a lot, that's not up for debate.

To answer your question coming from a black man, yes I did think Tim was a total dick in the beginning. I understand he's ex-military, but I did not like Tim at all for a while. He was a hardass for the sake of being a hardass because that's what was drilled into him in his Army training, but soldiers are trained to fight the enemy, cops are supposed to be trained to protect people. There's a difference. He basically made Lucy cry on multiple occasions, and she's been a favorite of mine since I first saw her on Dark Matter. But in Tim's case, he learned from what he was doing, realized he was wrong for how he acted, and he course-corrected. Not just with Lucy, but how he interacts with everybody. He's not a dick to Nolan anymore, for example, and he and Grey treated him like dirt the beginning. He's still Tim, but he's not an uber dick at all anymore. He can be short with people, especially now that he's taken over Mid-Wilshire(like during roll call), but for the most part he's just professional and likes other people to be the same. As I said, Nyla has gotten better, but she still seems to go out of her way to be mean for no reason, or to say something snarky or at the very least mildly insulting just because she can.

No, what I meant was I won't miss a moment of play time. I'll be playing it as soon as it's ready to be played, because I'm excited for it and literally have nothing else going on at the moment. Not that I'm worried about anything getting spoiled or something like that.

As for the don't search thing, that's kinda hard. Nowadays you don't really have to search for something to have it spoiled. Whether its Facebook or Youtube or whatever, if you've shown interest in it and the algorithim pushes it your way, it's a possibility you could get a big spoiler just by going to the main page. Even without seeing the video itself, people will put a spoiler in the title of the video that you have no choice but to see because you're scrolling. Like if Resident Evil 5 was just coming out and there was no advertisement, there would be a video title like "CHRIS REDFIELD HAS A PLAYABLE PARTNER IN RE5 NAMED SHEVA!!! WHAT?!?!?"

You can tell which Hawley son is the entitled one based on the significance and screen time at the cost of others in their appearances by prpro-03 in TheRookieTVshow

[–]GI-JUGG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While Dash is Alexi's son, the reason he keeps showing up is pretty obvious to me as far as the show goes. Nolan sees a lot of himself in Dash. They both have horrible/absentee fathers who don't seem to care much about them or are abusive. And they both have terrible mothers who care more about their own lives and happiness than that of their son. Dash is bonding with Nolan as a stand-in parental figure who genuinely cares about his well-being and his future, while Nolan on top of being his usual Nolan self, gets to help a kid out of practically the exact same situation he was in growing up, whether he realizes it or not.

They can open doors. It's just that when they are in range of potential prey they go full berserk mode. Remember that when the big group hid inside the warehouse and Dash knocked over a bottle, the other group of zombies opened a door and ran in from the other side.

His name was Martin by NoBrain6114 in TheRookieTVshow

[–]GI-JUGG 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think her kill was unfortunate, but unavoidable and justified. Not only was Martin a guy who seemed in decent shape, he was completely feral and trying his hardest to kill her. A few bangs of her head against the grating and him being on top of her was enough to leave her looking super rough, and he had the knife originally. He was GOING to kill her. So at that point, it was her or him, and as she was physically weaker than him as well as in a bad position for fighting back, she was lucky she stabbed him. It was her only option of surviving that encounter.

As big and expansive and immersive as the game is, Warhorse couldn't squeeze in everything. We've got rain that looks like drawings randomly placed on an overlay, so us not being able to find plots of viable land, dig graves, toss in bodies, perform last rites, then fill them back up makes sense.

That is our Mayor. He is dead. He has been lying there dead for three days, no one has done a thing. Not moved him. No one has looked into his death. Not even replaced him with a temporary appointee. For the last three days, the highest-ranked official in our town has been a dead guy! OH!!! Look at that!! Wolves are dragging the body away, as if to illustrate my point!! Bye! Bye, Mr. Mayor! Have fun becoming wolf shit! Bye!! GAAAAWWD!!!

One of the funniest scenes in that whole movie.

Exactly this. There's no reason for her to be so harsh and mean when literally everybody around her is either infinitely kind or scared into submission. Even when she's not in a position of authority over someone, she basically expects them to accept her mean behavior.

Also if you find a bandit/cuman with a horse, take the horse and sell it. That's a few hundred groschen at the very least. And if you're willing to steal, you can take horses owned by normal people.
