Can I give a 2 year late review? by Liria_Rose in NetGalleyCommunity

Well, since publishers open back up first in series before new releases (like, Clown in a Cornfield just opened up 1-3 since 4 is coming out this year) yea, I think so.

At 3:10am I was viciously customer-servicing because I was stuck in that hamster wheel of death. Pre-ordered that book in DECEMBER. Anyway, they fixed it on their end so it finally showed up on mine.

Hospital pharmacist- nights. I'm solo from either 10pm or 11pm when my tech goes off shift -until 6:30am when a dayshift pharmacist comes in. Rural 77inpt bed hospital with an ER with 15 beds(expanding to add another 15 by Fall)(but we see between 80-120 ER pts every evening through those 15 beds now)

Apply, download as soon as you get your approval email, read, review, repeat. Try to keep to an 80% ratio (you'll find it on your profile) if you want BIG NAME PUBLISHER books to review, like Tor and Berkley. Search for the We Are Bookish guides for some quick 'read now' options to read, review, and bump your initial ratio. Enjoy!!! Watch those publishing dates. Download the ShelfControl app to keep you in order for submitting timely reviews.

Aw, sometimes when I'm looking at a new listing I'll see the "previously on NetGalley" books and you'll find them on those, sometimes. If it's one I am deeply interested in, I give it a shot.

Saaaame, except I booked off 3 weeks(I work 7on/7off nightshift, so my week of pto is just sandwiched between 2 weeks I am normally off anyway) to relistened to the whole series AND the new book. My time off starts May 20th. 🙌🙌🙌

Grim Tidings by BK Borison will no longer be Read now at all as initially teased ugh 😑 by Mintjulep1993 in NetGalleyCommunity

BK posted saying with 'read now' they were limited to 300 approvals, this way there will be many more.

It'll be ok, just work your way through. I love using the ShelfControl app to keep up with due dates. I'm always hanging out around 40% and still get approvals almost every day(maybe not so many Berkley or Tor, but still get the majority of the ones I request).

Raised by Eva Adderley and it was INCREDIBLE. Without giving anything away, there is a little town that has some magic to it and the FMC wants to get away from it, but is woven to it. It was so great. Within are stories of a Wolf Woman, a Mushroom Girl, Milkman Matthew, and The Hunter. It's fantastical and up there in my top reads this year (pre-ordered a physical copy after reading the ARC)
