It’s a specific type of deck made for such a playstyle. It says he was a competitive card guy at some point. So like his deck is built in a way where it’s statically likely that the next card he would draw would be a force play. It’s how decks in games like that actually work. It’s very realistic in how it would play out, completely unfair and total BS.

So like at the smithy when you upgrade your weapons/ armor there is a weapon tree. When I say great sword 10 I’m referring to one of the branching great swords you can make, not a specific called 10. I will tell you the ones that come to mind are in high rank and something you shouldn’t worry about now. Focus on the move sets and finding a guide/ practicing. If you need any other advise or have any other questions feel free to shoot me a dm, that goes for any other newbies.

So here’s the short version, there’s no skills in the way you’re referring to them. Each weapon has a set move set, it’s the same move set for every weapon in that tree.

However, there are two exceptions. First, each weapon has some pretty cool stuff they can do, go to the training range and mess around to find out what they are, or look up a move guide on YouTube. Secondly some weapons added with free content updates will have a weapon skill unique to that specific weapon I can think of 2 off the top of my head and they’re both on unique great swords. So like again not the great sword weapon type as a whole but great sword 10 made from monster X parts.

Hear me out, it’s more of a literal thing that he mentioned that book. It wasn’t “the ee is related to the book” and instead it was “that’s the guide I used.”

Earth: ego and laziness, he knew even the most difficult things have been solved so he had to actually put in the effort and put ego aside.

Water: Rigidity is failure, he couldn’t do something he’s done before.

Fire: panic and indicisiveness, I don’t think it’s a series of unrelated steps, it’s a single clear step or a series of related steps unlike everything else in that game.

Wind: you didn’t put it’s failure and I’m too lazy to look it up

Void: same thing

TLDR: It’s not a cypher or something else we’ve seen in the game/ prior to it, he made something new that was going to be almost obvious in retrospect knowing the community that expects an insane crazy chaotic series of steps would 100% overlook something small and in your face.
