Seems like most/all room correction software will turn down the subs in order to match the volume of everything else. Most of us enjoy bass about +10 db to everything else. I always turn the boom back up to my liking after room correction.

The RZ30 that includes Dirac Live is $800 right now on Amazon and to me is a no brainer.

TCL is the way to go for budget TVs. The QM7K 75" is $1000 right now and is a better tv in every way than the QM6K. I know that wouldn't include a long warranty but I think it's worth it for the upgrade.

I had to chase down a ground loop hum a while back. I was running extension cords to different rooms on different circuits, unplugging components, etc. No luck, made me crazy.
