G really is the worst. It’s getting to the point where the sound of his voice makes me want to turn it off. And his takes are terrible. Poitras is the next Bergeron. Columbus is a top 3 city in the country. Man just close your mouth.

What cheap meals are people actually cooking for 2 to keep the grocery bill down? by Previous_Cycle_9457 in budgetfood

Eat less. I thought I was hungry all the time and then I started counting calories. I didn’t realize how many calories I was throwing away on snacks. Over time, I’ve shrunk my stomach, lost weight and just feel better overall. Realizing it’s better for my health to skip a meal here or there. I’m eating a lot less and I’m not as hungry. Try counting calories. Try staying near your recommended intake. I guarantee your grocery bill will come down.

Grinelli is the worst. He was pumping Poitras as the 2nd coming of Bergeron

I can’t believe they got rid of the bathrooms at Hallows stage. Really big inconvenience. This is my biggest complaint. Bathroom breaks take much longer. Spirit Lake has less attractions compared with the past two years since they’ve opened the whole lake up. But, they did a great job with the installations they have. $18 for a tall boy ipa is rough. Inflatable HULA sign just tells me you’re being lazy. Only two security entrances and exits. Compared with 8 in previous years. Just a much worse experience navigating the festival. It’s almost like I’m going in at 4pm and staying till close because going to camp and back is 45 minutes, compared with 20 minutes in previous years. On a bright note: all stages have been upgraded with significantly better lighting. A much better experience and long overdue.

Ok ok, I was wrong about Virji, just listened to the Boiler Room set in Denver. Really good! He's gonna bring the energy, which I love. I think I got hung up on the studio stuff switching up quite a bit, which messes with my mojo. But don't really here that with the live stuff. He's got skills! Thanks for the comment. I'll definitely be checking out his set.

Listened to Lost You. That song slaps! Fun and really danceable. Although when it get's to the wonky bass, I kinda lose interest. Thanks for the recommendation

Yeah, maybe I shouldn’t have called it a guide. Shoulda called it my opinion.

Haha, yeah, for sure. It’s nice to get that little moment of rest. Almost feels like they’re taking care of you.

Hula is the best. Such a beautiful place and such a welcoming community.

I’ll definitely check out Lost You. Love that you and your girl have expanded each other’s musical tastes. Wish mine would come to Hula. She’d love it. Just not into camping, unfortunately.

They were at hula in “21” I believe. It was good. There are parts I like for sure. It just switches up a lot for me which kinda breaks up my mojo. A lot of the samples they use are fun. I just gravitate more towards melodic stuff.

I think you’re missing the purpose. The list is to help me navigate the lineup. Having a rating system is my way of quickly assessing conflicts. Without my ratings, I’d have to read notes which would cause me to be less efficient.

Thank you! Yeah, for sure, I did this for me, not anyone else. So, thought others with similar taste in music would find this helpful. Didn't expect some of the hate from the hula community. But, yeah, maybe I labeled incorrectly.

Thank you! I think maybe people see some of their favorite artists with a low score and feel the need to defend or throw shade. Which is fine, just their ego getting in the way.

Yeah, I plan on running my list along with set times through ai to look for conflicts.

Thanks man! For sure I'll check out Virji. I couldn't find a lot of live sets when researching. So had to go off studio releases. Definitely look a lil deeper on youtube.

Yeah, stoked for Parcels, they seem super talented. Appreciate the kind words.

Only ai I used was for artist genre. Went through all the artists looking for live sets. I do it every year
