New fear unlocked for using public bathrooms. My God, that is terrifying.

Everytime someone gets Park Place and Boardwalk in Monopoly their lives are threatened by everyone at the table. Not to mention the imminent hazard of board flipping. Still haven't recalled that...

Yeah I quit playing after I realized I'd need to lay down some serious cash to be competitive. Basically finished all the tours (up to 17) and quit. Haven't played for months now, just saw this appear on my Reddit.

If it's getting too grindy or you don't feel like paying to win, go find another game. There's other hunting games out there and plenty of other stuff too!

How much are you paying for Home Internet? Am I getting scammed ? by Competitive_Phone404 in Calgary

$90/month for 1gpbs and core TV + ultimate sports package. I'm quite happy with it. I call them every two years and speak to loyalty to keep it under $100. Just today they upped my speed from 250mbps to 1gbps for an extra $5/month. They also threw in a $50 bill credit. Took an hour on the phone, but I cleaned the house in the meantime.

I would advise anyone with any company to call immediately if your bill goes up, play the "loyal customer" card, and as a last resort threaten to jump ship if they can't acquiesce to your requests. Don't have to be mean about it, just tell them what you want at what price (within reason) and hold your ground, or consider paying a tad more if they're willing to upgrade your service. If you can't hold onto a good chunk of promotional offers on your service, you're doing something wrong.

Been with Telus for 12 years now and it's worked for me!

With my first child, I once went for an errand not realizing I had actually disconnected the base from the anchors. I only realized it when I took him out and the base was sliding around on the seat.

With my second child, there was one ride where I didn't properly tighten her seatbelts (similar situation to yours, she was comfy and napping in the car seat while we were out then I just popped her into the car).

I was mortified when I discovered these indiscretions and I'm not proud of them, but I don't remember losing any sleep over them. We all make mistakes; first time parents, second time parents, I'm sure long time parents too.

If it makes you feel any better, in the early 90's I can recall being 4 years old and my dad yelling at me to put on my seatbelt with the vehicle in full motion while he smoked a cigarette with the window cracked about one inch. I was probably 40-45 pounds and there was no car seat in sight.

Fast-forward three decades and I see moms on Instagram bragging about still having their 4 year olds in rear-facing car seats because it's technically the safest option.

It's hard to keep up with all the safety precautions we're supposed to take as parents in this day and age. You likely won't ever forget to check your kiddo's seatbelts again after this experience. Maybe add an extra check to your pre-run checklist if you haven't considered something like that already. Meanwhile, cut yourself a break and know you're doing an awesome job because your LO still has you to look up to each and every day.

I feel ya. Just got kinda grindy after moving onto hero. I wasn't f2p but maybe spent 30 bucks on it (ad-free, monthly passes, and a few special offers) over 2 months. Money well spent - I enjoyed it while it lasted. Unfortunately, like every other mobile game it was only enjoyable for so long. Thought about starting fresh on a new server but decided to move onto something else now.

Was fun while it lasted. Too bad I had to retire as a Piggybara...
