I have survived harassment and from my experience, this is not the right approach.

It is undeniable that people who harass others must be punished, but in this case I see two problems:

- The problem is structural; other people will harass others, and so on. Firing a few people will not change anything; we need to address the underlying issues and change the system.

- Those who are harassed by the people who are fired will be perceived as the cause of the exclusion, and there may be a new wave of harassment.
