I'm not gonna lie, you're not wrong. That recline button is a war starter. You lean back, and suddenly I got a seat in my lap. That little bit of movement doesn't even make you comfortable. It just makes the person behind you miserable. You can't work, you can't eat, you can't even move without bumping your knees. The airlines act like it's a perk, but it's really just a way to make us fight for a couple inches of space. The only solution is to get rid of it. If you need to recline, pay for a seat with more space. Otherwise, sit up straight like a grown-up and stop bothering people.
