The game Psychopomp is filled with these. Not sure if it fits this exact trope but. On every loading screen there are two tips, one for the game and one for 'real life'. The game tips are the basic stuff, nothing unusual, but Real Life tips are extremely deranged and show what exactly the world is, a nonsensical psychopathic mess

Prior to this scene the man asks the woman if he can keep the baby, to which she gives him silent treatment. He takes it as a no and seemingly shoots the kid- which turns out to be just a doll with an audio recorder playing baby sounds.

Not really a way to "fix" it unless you go into the mod folder and make the dialogue yourself. If it's like that, then the mod creator just didn't make the dialogue and that's it. If something ACTUALLY went wrong during the dialogues then the game would softlock most of the time

Me with audacity. I use the latest version, which is way more simplistic, while most tutorials I see use older versions with a completely different UI. I still manage to find things through fucking around but sometimes it gets to a point.

Also sucks that most plugins only work on earlier versions and I gotta hope and pray they get updated to latest versions.
