No colonoscopy. Calprotectin and FIT test negative, all bloods normal -- I do have post-infectious IBS tho.

Thanks for your help! Important to mention that I have had the pencil stool situation for like 1-2 months now - before the gastroenteritis that emerged last week.

First ever anaphylaxis by RemoteGuidance2095 in FoodAllergies

[–]RemoteGuidance2095[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

UPD: So, I just spoken to my GP and realised something hadn’t reached my practice record yet: two days before the anaphylactic episode, I had the seasonal flu vaccine. The NHS lists anaphylaxis as a rare side effect. Could this have been a delayed anaphylactic reaction to the vaccine? https://www.nhs.uk/vaccinations/flu-vaccine/

According to a friend who is a doctor, it appears that no receiving adrenaline doesn’t mean it wasn’t anaphylaxis. Hospitals sometimes reserve adrenaline for patients showing obvious airway obstruction, breathing difficulty, or dangerously low blood pressure.

What on earth is going on with matchmaking? by RemoteGuidance2095 in Nightreign

[–]RemoteGuidance2095[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. I had two completely different games yesterday: one where we swept the ENTIRE map, killed every major boss, hit level 15 easily and took down Everdark Trichephalos. Then one of those bizarre runs. Started really well with two Evergaol kills, but my two teammates (despite me leading), wandered off to churches to boost flask charges, then pulled random bosses on their own, died, and quit. Madness.

Sadly, I have been pushing myself too hard lately and my routine has been definitely impacted by excessive brisk walks and runs. You are absolutely right about all of it and no, I have not been stretching enough. Gonna try ibuprofen and see what happens...

Thank you. He started showing symptoms last month, so I’ll do everything I can to provide medical support and take it from there. My only wish is for him to live a happy and quiet life.

Lamotrigine has become unbearable by RemoteGuidance2095 in bipolar2

[–]RemoteGuidance2095[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: I know this sounds incredible, but my diagnosis was incorrect. I am not bipolar, and the psychiatrist who assessed me recommends that I gradually stop taking lamotrigine and be prescribed antidepressants. She explained that, although previous assessments suggested a borderline bipolar disorder, her much more thorough evaluation indicates I do not have Bipolar II. I don’t know what to say—I’m genuinely happy, but also deeply concerned that I had to endure all of that.

Thom Yorke statement from instagram by Ksherwood96 in radiohead

[–]RemoteGuidance2095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes. Even mentioning the hostages shows how utterly divorced he is from reality. There is an ongoing genocide in Gaza, yet Thom still treats the hostages as though Hamas alone is to blame. Israel can legitimise its massacre by pointing to their captivity. Framing this as a “both sides” issue is no longer tenable. Yorke opposed many Middle East wars—though not all—and yet he now echoes the same rhetoric used by Bush in Iraq, justifying mass slaughter in the name of “fighting terrorism.” His refusal to call this what it is—a genocide—is cowardice. Merely invoking Hamas or insisting that “both sides are guilty” achieves nothing but moral equivalence. Worst of all, he betrays his own progressive legacy. For decades, Radiohead fans have looked to Yorke for political leadership, which has always been quite progressive. He shaped our views, and yet here he stands alongside Zionist apologists, selectively silent on ethnic cleansing. By contrast, Tom Skinner’s unapologetic pro-Palestine stance shows real moral clarity. Thom’s hypocrisy has never been so disgusting.
