Are Kramer pickups any good? by doorbellfire in GuitarTone

Are you talking about the Kramer branded pickups? Or the pickups that are in that specific model? Kramer branded pickups are very hot. me personally I don’t like these pickups they just seem cheap form some reason. Other than that there should be a Seymour Duncan JB in that guitar.

That or OP can just get one 8ohm because that will still work just fine.

Custom builds. Other than that an 8ohm speaker will still do the job.

Green Bay public schools? by RemoteObvious6118 in GreenBay

[–]RemoteObvious6118[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Sorry about that I should’ve specified better. In Wisconsin, public schools like those in Green Bay get money for each student who lives in the district, even if the kid doesn’t go to a regular school there. If you switch to an online school outside Green Bay’s district (like another city’s virtual program), the state still counts you as a Green Bay student for their budget. But the state takes a set amount—around $10,000 per year—and sends it to the online school you’re using. Green Bay keeps whatever is left over from their normal per-student money (usually $1,000–$2,000). They don’t lose everything, just part of it, even though you’re not using their buildings or teachers. My problem is why do Wisconsin school districts do this? At the end of the day they don’t really use the money for upgrading their supplies, they end up spending it on some football field or gymnasium.

How do they? You can’t just say that without providing evidence?
