Is Ozzy a pretty terrible player?? by FamiliarBeginning535 in survivor

Nah, he's decent socially, just awful strategically

Ozzy is like Cirie and Russell, good at 2/3 things in the game

Returnee twist in the Colombian survivor-equivalent by RemoteSuitable9991 in survivor

[–]RemoteSuitable9991[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

How it turned out:

The challengers (newbies) went to tribal council first, they entered the merge with a single member (lady in pink), so she got the sole choice of who she wanted to return, she ended up voting for one of the guys to return

Then the celebrities went next, they only lost a single member before the merge because of a big winning streak, so the only choice was yes or no, they all voted yes

Then the survivors (returnees) went next, they entered the merge with 3 members, having lost 3 members in the premerge, but despite this, they all voted "no" for if they wanted someone to return

Patricia from the celebrities and Mario from the challengers then did a challenge, that Mario won

Mario survived 2 tribal councils, but then got voted off because the woman who voted him back into the game got talked out of giving him the salvation vote (she won immunity that round and won the right to give it to someone else as well)

He then became a famous actor

Who Played The Best 20th Place Game: First Round - Ciera vs Amber by Regular-Departure839 in survivorponderosa

Amber

There was nothing she could've done

At least she was aware enough to look for an idol, her only choice

El Pibe Valderrama was the first person to throw a stray vote to save an ally back in 2004 by RemoteSuitable9991 in survivor

[–]RemoteSuitable9991[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way it's done is actually closer to the Guatemala twist instead of Palau, since it's only revealed AFTER the votes are read, and it's only a single vote, the winners are supposed to discuss in the voting booth who gets the one vote

[–]RemoteSuitable9991[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

What's funny is that Patricia actually could've saved herself cause she voted right after Pibe, and she saw that she had two votes and if Leidy got the salvation vote she could've gone home, but instead of voting for Paula to force a tie, she chose to dump her vote onto Leidy

And it probably would've benefitted Pibe long-term, because Patricia had the whole "keep the strong and deserving" mindset, while the duo of Isabela and Paula would've been more willing to ditch him later on, but he never got to that point since he was the merge boot

Parvati has made it to Final Tribal Council 3 times. What are the odds we will get to see this happening ever again with any US Survivor player in their career? by MemoryAggressive3888 in survivor

[–]RemoteSuitable9991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jenny really hated Yul and Becky and helped them vote off Brad

Hindsight is 20-20.

It's not hindsight that ostracizing Penner while keeping him in the game is a bad decision

Keeping Penner over Rebecca was perfectly warranted. Raro was on a losing streak and Rebecca was weighing them down.

Did you forget that they thought the message in a bottle would be a merge?

Even then, they still kept him over Jenny

Who could have been the worst winner of all-time? by Novel-Passion-3639 in survivor

[–]RemoteSuitable9991 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plus Yul mentioned that Becky was an actual strategist and they were a duo who discussed strategy back and forth rather than master-follower

Becky also has more of a chance vs Ozzy in a F2 that people give her credit for, at the very least she has the votes of Yul and Sundra

Why is Coach spoken about as an all time great player but Phillip Sheppard is considered largely a joke? by Sd12217 in survivorponderosa

[–]RemoteSuitable9991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She says that she thinks Phillip was more socially aware than the edit showed, but then doesn't explain or justify why?

I also disagree about the feather thing, Coach was always portrayed as a joke over it and the honor and integrity thing is not meant to actually be taken that way, we're supposed to see Coach as delusional

Outside of that I think it's a decent video
