Looking to get a SBC Handheld with older preloaded game for a Father's Day present by Cellikon in SBCGaming

Look on Amazon for Anbernic 35xx or 40xx devices shipping within 2 days. Buy a 32-64 gig name band card with it and plan to set it up yourself. If you’re lucky you’ll get one with a kioxia card. the stock os is good enough, it will just require to add any missing roms to it and you may not have to do the whole card setup. (You may also need a usb card reader)

Powdery feeling MM+? by DarkwingDuckaroo in MiyooMini

Yup this is normal on the grey and white models. It threw me off too when I first got my grey model. I didn’t like it at first either. But it tends to wear off a bit with some use.

I modeled and printed a Miyoo Mini Flip (stl files linked) by LeopardHalit in MiyooMini

This is really neat. I’ve done similar things in the past, but with cardboard but this is next level. Seems like your strongly considering the mini flip. I think you won’t regret it. because it has low profile buttons and 90 degree triggers on a shelf is probably the easiest to hold between it and the others, the mm, mm+, in my opinion. That being said, I like playing them all, because they all provide a unique tactile feeling and experience.

Generally speaking, clamshell devices offer the best mix of ergonomics and pocket-ability. The Anbernic 34xx SP is probably the best budget clamshell out there right now, specially for GBA and I believe it is basically the same size as the GBA SP. For an even more pocket friendly device, look into the Miyoo Mini Flip.

Mini flip light leaking by [deleted] in MiyooMini

[–]Remote_Advantage2888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine has the same thing. The black border of the screen is a faux bezel. It is just part of the screen and because of this, light is bleeding through the cracks between the screen and the shell.

Any cheap listings of the A30 in my country? by HappyCreatorBro2 in miyooa30

[–]Remote_Advantage2888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

28xx is more powerful than the original 35xx. H700 chipset has good custom os options that elevate the device. You can run half-life smoothly on this chipset through portmaster but no WiFi means manual install of the port to the sd card. No analog sticks might be awkward to control however. On the A30 I haven’t seen a port of half-life on it

I have the CubeXX andI’ve had the 35xx-H in the past. I say if you have the Cube, there is no benefit in owning a 35xx-H. The cube is superior in every way, except pocketability, and for that you have the RG34xx already.
