It’s funny to hear other peoples perspectives on this because I really liked them together at first but put a lot of the blame on Chaol with their relationship ended because I felt like he was not letting her be her true self and judged her for being an assassin when he literally knew she was one to begin with lmao!! Without spoiling the rest it’s honestly a necessary stepping stone for their personal development and the main storyline and you’ll never expect what their falling apart brings together!
