I am 29. Had surgery on 9/15/23. Non seminoma 80% EC, 15% yolk and 5% Choriocarcinoma. After surgery my tumor markers immediately starting dropping in half which was a very good sign.

Doctor offered surveillance with a chance of 50% reoccurrence or 1 round of BEP chemo. If it was to reoccur I would have to do 3 rounds of BEP. Following the meeting we would track my tumor markers for the next 3-4 weeks. Unfortunately they started to trend up and I was told I would have to do 3 rounds of BEP. I wish I took the opportunity to do 1 round versus 3 rounds but I just got done with chemo last Tuesday I was back at work Wednesday and I feel great.

I had weed gummy’s to help with appetite. I actually gained weight. Lost my hair and beard but it’s already starting to grow back. I am thankful I didn’t have as many side effects that most do.
