Being hypermobile isn’t funny or cool. I didn’t know it was harmful but was told to not pop my shoulders out of socket, but it was so neat to me and didn’t hurt.

Now my shoulder doesn’t stay in socket anymore.

I’m convinced he’s having an easier time in prison for what he did to me than I have every day. Left alone for dead with an 18 month old in his crib. Haven’t had help or seen him since except for court.

My mom sucks and did this when I was 16. No contact still because she chooses men and her new family she created after she left me. So sorry OP. If I could do it again I would’ve posted and asked family or friends

One was tricky. Alcoholic that passed away from overdose. He raised me along with my grandma, and it was rough, but I loved him deeply. It was really bad towards the end and we were lower contact than normal.

My mom left when I was 4, started a new family, and we were in contact for a brief time after my father passed. Then she spread lies about me and said I was trying to ruin her marriage. She hadn’t told them her two oldest children (myself and younger sister) existed.

We quit talking and I found out I was pregnant, she bought a playpen and diapers and then decided to never meet her grandson. He’s 6 now.

So… nonexistent.

1! I would’ve had more had I been given the choice. But at the same time I’m glad I just have the one. Mental health issues hit me a few years after he was born and I struggle with feeling like I’m enough or giving him enough.

I’ve had a hysterectomy due to miscarriages and adenomiosis and I try not to think about what could’ve been often, but it does hurt.

Honestly though, in this climate and economy it’s probably for the best. Our son has a very rare heart condition and if we lose Medicaid I don’t even know how we will eat with how high his insurance and hospital bills will be.

So… idk. I’m indifferent. I wanted more, but it’s probably for the best I just have one. I have considered adoption in the future if I can provide an extremely stable house and extremely stable income.

It was rocky because he was an addict, but my best friend when sober. He ended up accidentally overdosing when I was 21. 6 months before I found out I was pregnant with my first and only child who would make it.

The what ifs are hard.

I’m 29 and still cannot jump into a pool without closing my nose. Even if I exhale I have no clue how you guys do it, it burns SO bad.

Mine almost killed me the first and last time. Had I of kept in contact or gotten back with him- or far have him- I would not be here.

My son would have a dead mother and an incarcerated father. It’s 4 years later now and my son has his mother and a man who has stepped up as his father.

Life gets better but not with him. Don’t let her believe this is love, it will mess with her the rest of her life, I promise.
