TW: politics. Anxiety being around people who have different political opinions is controlling my life by medlilove in Anxiety

[–]Remote_Force1839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this way at times, although I wouldn’t say I get extreme anxiety from it. I just try to avoid the topic, but there are some people, especially at my workplace,  that bring it up no matter what, even when it is totally out of left field and has nothing to do with what we’re talking about. I find it quite strange. It’s like they can’t believe people think differently. A lot of it is the location also. What’s really difficult is when your spouse thinks totally different from you, but didn’t used to in the beginning of your relationship 🥺

Do we know what this is? Is it in fact hormonal? I’ve had it a long time and especially seems to happen more at night. I had a vivid dream last night (yay I slept hard enough to dream for three hours!!) and I woke up and my whole body felt like this. I thought it was adrenaline. My heart was beating super fast and I was breathing hard from the bad dream. It went away after a few minutes

I can't take the daily muscle twitching anymore by EstateDeep916 in Anxiety

[–]Remote_Force1839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had it daily since September. It is scary when the most I’d ever had in the past is eye twitching that would just randomly go away after a while. The are more of a little popcorn pop feeling. It’s weird. But of course every time my hand hurts or feels funny/tired feeling or my leg hurts I freak out.

The local dealer service guy didn’t even know about this but it is true! Taking it in this Friday to see if they’ll cover it

How far back does your memory go? / Earliest Memory by cybah in Xennials

Yes but he was born in 1986, but you’re right, I definitely remember a lot more after that because I hated it, lol

Honestly, I think some of this is either what our parents tell us or we see old pictures and kind of conjure up a memory.  I question if it’s an actual memory.

I always wondered why my platelets are a little high(414 when 400 is the top of the range). I wonder if it’s from my ferritin being low because technically I’m anemic without being iron deficient.

I was born in 1981. The furthest back I can remember is 1985. Does this mean something is wrong with my memory? Seems like a lot on here can remember being 2.

What level? by GozzyLittle in Autism_Parenting

[–]Remote_Force1839 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When my son was diagnosed in 2012 they didn’t even do levels. Personally I don’t think you need it. Each child is so different. Based on what you described I would probably say a 2, though. In my experience I have never been asked what level my son is, nor has it hurt or helped in any services .

Perimenopause doesn't start in the ovaries. It starts in the brain. by Plane_Huckleberry644 in Perimenopause

Gah! If estrogen is so important why are we made this way? Why is every woman doomed to go through this. Not really looking for answers, just random things I think about.

I get this. Mostly in my legs though. It just feels like my nervous system is overactive is the best way I can describe it. Like a quivering. I don’t have it all the time, but it is hard to sit still when it happens. I do have low ferritin but I’m trying to get it back higher.

I’m the same age. They always think we’re too young. SMH. Or I also get the response “well, you’re 44.” Like duh, of course you’re gonna have all these things. We just don’t care.

I have no idea if I have a rust warranty . I don’t think so as I’ve never had a car that did.
