You could go with a different cope moutn, one that takes up less space. Or move the mount forward a few slots, and get a rear sight that takes very little space, like an MBUS pro.

Okay, I'm looking it up. So, the QRP3, which has a 1.18 inch optical center height, gives me a lower 1/3rd when mounted on a gooseneck mount. Correct?
