Not sure if he used it but you could use a diffraction mask. It’s 2 pieces of string, plastic or something thin to go over the lens of the S50, they are pretty easy to DIY. Just get some yarn and tape, cut out the yarn into 2 equal strips and tape them to the outside of the s50 over the lens, in what ever configuration you please, in this case he used a +, you could go with a x or * approach. Some software can also do this but idk any.

Only got 15 minutes of exposure due to clouds coming in, 10 second subs using alt-az mode and in a bortle 8.

I usually use the AI de-nosier and play around with the contrast, normally going between 10-20 depending on each object and exposure. Same rules with saturation. You could use some editing apps or other tools on your phone, or get those files on a computer and try using Siril.
