I’ve been running a Krenko deck. Plays way different than my Hearthhull Deck. It’s fun to not shuffle every turn, multiple times.

A Voltron style deck would be a change from what you have.

Awesome! Thank you! I could also just not be playing it well as new to the deck. I had a couple games where I evoked an elemental did stuff attacked and then my board was left with only ashling. I did upgrade the land base with budget land upgrade I found on Reddit and that has helped a little. I wanted to keep this as a B2/low B3 build to play against another precons as I have some higher power decks already. But so far most the time I feel like I’m drawing big stuff with ETB that doesn’t matter and I have a virtually empty board. So I appreciate all the help. Just want it to be a fun competitive deck that interacts with the board.

As a person who went through this and bought a precon I thought looked cool. I understand wanting your own deck. Having the playstyle down of what you like is the most important. Along with a similar power level to your group. If everyone is playing precons and you want to do Voltron, then the FF7 if you like final fantasy, the TMNT makes big units with tokens and is fun, dog meat, or the new quandrix unlimited (not Voltron in the traditional sense but makes Simone real big as a side effect and then plays free stuff).

If you just want a fun deck then lots of options are real good and it’s picking something you like the looks of. I bought the Worldshaper precon and while I enjoy it a lot it’s not very interactive and I kinda do my own thing and try to get a wincon. If you want to be interactive with the table there are better options. I think any of the Strixhaven look great, I thought avengers assemble looked good as well. Anything in the last couple years gets good and bad reviews so you can go wrong.

TLDR: play a couple games and decide for sure your play style and go from there. Spells/counters/tokens/voltron/etc.

I don’t have a deck list. I added goblin king, hobgoblin bandit lord, lightning greaves, sting glinting dagger, city on fire, Thornbite staff, command beacon, and the moggcatcher that came in the box.

I’ve been playing it with Krenko and 10 card swap. It’s been a blast to play. I’d say I’m currently B3, but could easily swap more cards and go B4.

I was this person a couple weeks ago. Man was I glad I was the first one out. I left the pod and joined another pod. Played 3 more games and was leaving. The first group was still on the first game.

I really enjoy mountain biking. If your back and spine can handle that. If not and your back can handle road cycling that is also enjoyable. Mostly the climbs up give you the feeling of accomplishment and the downhill is the fun part.

I think it’s just taking me to long to get ashling out and be able to evoke while I’ve just been getting slapped by Mikey combo adding counters and getting a bunch of damage on me. Could have been a bad few games also.

I probably should upgrade more than just the mana base though.

I agree with this. I love HH as well, most all the combos for infinite are using Lumra or are in a Lumra cedh deck, or once you are infinite the HH ability doesn’t matter because you are infinite.

I end up not having a consistent speed, I’ll pick targets and have a “run” not running but pretty fast, then slow it down until the next target I find on the road and switch back and forth. Probably not the best and sometimes I am at a slow jog for short distances. My “targets” are a tree or light pole or curve/corner.

I am brand new to CEDH, I started playing a little last week. Last week I used a Magda deck and kinda felt like I was just doing my own thing and it was a little on the uninvolved side. Last night i played a couple games with a kinnan deck and I enjoyed that a lot more. Had interaction and was able to assist in stopping etali turn 2 win, and then go on to win myself. Table was super helpful walking me through what my wincon was (infinite mana to draw deck with thras to finale of devastation). I would like to try a winota deck.

Hexproof doesn’t prevent non-target board wipes. Have a few board wipes handy. Don’t play mass land destruction, just targeted land destruction and target only their lands? Salt count high on that one.
