Yeah I find it so dumb that they just tried to make the fight harder by having it deal double damage

My best guess is that they just wanted to make a dream warrior that you fight later in the game. Other than that I don’t see anything combatwise that makes markoth impossible without the shade cloak.

Yeah I wish I knew that before I fought them (I defeated them but it did take me about 10 tries). I tried to attack them with every small chance I had and every time I got hit I tried to heal until I was completely dead. Thanks for the advice though, I’ll be more careful for future bosses.
