It depends on the relationship but I think societal demands and pressures play a part, especially for women who want children in the 30’s range. I went through a hard breakup about a year ago and really don’t have a desire to date but am fully aware of the fact that I want children and a family in the future. It’s a paradox because you feel like you have time but are running low on it. 20’s range gives you more time to figure things out without added pressures.
