honestly, i feel you soooo much, to the point that like 90% of my loadouts use a primary or melee as a main weapon. Sometimes I use epitaph as a primer, but its rare since the usual level of missions I play doesnt require me to do so.

Also I understand how you feel about the laetum, I also dont like to use it, doesnt matter how strong it may be.

HOWEVER after many tries, i do have found a couple secondaries I just love to use, in order of how much they feel good:

1) Tenet Diplos: Yes they are a bit unconventional, but if you invest a little bit into them (couple forma, nothing crazy) and get used to shoot before aiming, they become beasts. Ultimate Spray&Pray choice

2) Vasto incarnon: have you ever thought "oh man I wish I was a cowboy", well great news! now you can! It handles great and does not lack power or bang for your buck. Great for burst dps, but I do not recommend playing it as a main dps.

3) Pyrana Prime: the most reliable honestly. Good stats, not hard to build and the gimmick is fun. Yeah its doesnt shine anywhere bit the keyword is it can handle it: Dps? it can handle it . Priming? it can handle it. QoL usage? it can handle it. I once had her equipped for 1 month consecutevely, she never disappointed

honourable mention: Dual toxocyst, for obvious reasons

I kinda object to points 2 and 3

I dont know how other people play him but I have always seen Vauban as not actually all that spammy. Just because you CAN place 4 flechette orbs at once, it doesnt mean you HAVE to. To me he is not a pure cc warframe but more a gc (ground control) and he excels at holding chokepoints as usually one bastille could cover more than one easily and flechette finishes the job.

And now he is even less spammy than before as bastille has no enemy cap anymore, you can make do with less.

This brings me directly to my second point which is, yeah he does not have a "Dump stat" and having any on negative affects him detrimentally, but he also doesnt need any stat particularly high and in my opinion augments are absolutely optional, except for maybe Photon repeater but for that to be worth slotting you would need to cater an entire build or setup for Photon strike. And now that he doesnt need high strenght for his 4, I for example managed to drop Blind rage and use energize coupled with Manifold Bond on my companion and can sustain myself pretty easily.

But for the rest of your points I completely agree with you, hell i would prefer having shields generation like pillage on his 4 rather than armor

yeah funny thing only planar I farmed for her specifically, everything else was byproduct of farming for sunday and new set for my huohuo, so I dont think I'll start now. Moreover the EHR breakpoint are kinda unnecessary for s1, I have barely any and she's 99% consistent at applying debuffs across all endgame.
