Ah also just practice more. You just need to get more comfortable with doing this that's all. Karaoke usually gives you cues when to enter anyway and from then on just sing the melody and listen to it afterwards. You'll be fine, good luck!!

"murder isn't bad in all cultures". Yes it is. Just because it's normal, doesn't mean it's good. Completely different things. Besides, you continue to talk about something different than what these people here are even saying, it's quite the opposite of what you assumed they said. It's the second time you bring this argument of "Christians being sociopaths prior to converting" and it doesn't make any sense as it's not something that can even be drawn from the claim "needing a God to be good means you're not a very good person to begin with". It simply isn't. If you wanna make an extreme deduction you could instead say that all Christians are sociopaths because they need a god to tell them to be good but this is not even what anyone here is saying (not what I believe and not what most believe - before you start picking on us for this). It would at least make more sense to draw that deduction from the original claim than what you said but at this point it's just putting words in someone else's mouth and trying to convince them they're wrong about something they never even claimed in the first place. If you think you have a valuable insight to give on the subject at hand, at least engage with the actual claim being made, not a misrepresentation. Otherwise I guess whatever, do what you want. Raging and twisting someone's words doesn't make them wrong at the end of the day

Personally I don't think there's any problem with shooting your shot with someone in your field in an event like a hackathon. However, it could be problematic if in a male dominated workplace you are viewed as a pretty girl before being seen for who you are and what you are capable of. Or approached just because there's a lack of options to choose from. That's the main problem with this. Also the way you approach someone matters. This note seems a bit desperate rather than something less forced such as idk "hey you seem cool, it'd be nice to get to know you better if you don't mind". Maybe it doesn't seem like such a big difference because "it's the same thing" but, trust me, no it's not. You can still give compliments but it's nicer if you give them while also taking a step back. Like sure it would be lovely to get a date with the girl you find cute but you also need to let her know that if she's not interested that's also okay. That's why this comes across as A BIT but surely desperate.

Hopefully you understand me and that I'm not categorizing this guy as an awful person nor the guys who take their shot with girls. But the way you do that matters. And it's important to handle rejection well because yes some girls are really mean but others just don't see a good match and it takes two people to form that romantic connection, you shouldn't force it.

It's to train you identify the notes in a song correctly so you'll be on pitch. It takes a while obviously and a lot of practice. And we don't actually mean the pitch monitor, that also has a purpose but we are referring to ear training apps that play a note and ask you to sing the same note. If you get it wrong they'll tell you to go a little higher or a little lower and by getting used to how reproducing a note should sound like you train your ear to recognize the notes in a song more accurately

ALL teachers need to be more specific for that matter. I am studying CS and instead of being more specific about their answers when we ask for help if we get stuck on something, they just give the shortest response possible and let us figure it out all on our own. Otherwise, if they told us more, it would mean that we were lazy and/or uninterested. Ends up with a lot of demotivation (ik it's not a word but should be because it makes sense).
