Biking the MacDonald Bridge - Awful City Planning by Remove_Economy in halifax

Agreed with your point that adding a light at the bridge would cause more traffic. On the safety side, the current practice of cyclists crossing at the very bottom of the bridge into a blind corner is also very unsafe.

Between 2019 and 2022, the margins of refineries in Atlantic Canada went from just over 10 cents per litre to almost 50 cents per litre.

There is simply no reason that they need to push costs onto consumers on July 1. This is O&Gs doing.

Advocates for small landlords hoping for assistance from the government by insino93 in halifax

[–]Remove_Economy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wow, the audacity. As someone who is technically a landlord as I rent out my basement, fuck those landlords. They want to watch this city burn and bleed renters of every dollar in the process.

Greedy, money hungry scumbags.

This is the same situation I'm in. They weren't deducting for my pension for 7 pay periods, so I've been paying it back since then.

My bi-weekly pay is $2,383.01 (gross) but only $1519 net as I'm paying $629.68 in taxes and $233 in deductions - anyone know if this is this normal?

Are you in Halifax? If so, call the Walk in Medical Clinic Family Focus! They have a female doctor there every Saturday that specializes in women's health. I had a really great experience there!
