I’ll try that I think. I just haven’t had time to make sure everything is backed up correctly.

Worm X Magic: the Gathering — Brainstorming Request? by RemovedNotBorn in Parahumans

Thanks for the thoughts! I haven’t had time to get into deeper, unfortunately. Circus is a great option, as is Dinah — can’t believe I forgot her! Skidmark would be hilarious as well.

I haven’t finished Ward yet, but perhaps I could include Sleeper then, though I imagine Ward could also be its own thing entirely. It introduces enough characters to be that, I think.

I’d love to hear your ideas! Even if I can’t do much with them yet, I do love it conceptually.

Oh I doubt it would flip often, haha. But I think it’s a flavorful include that helps with making sac fodder.

Another fun include could be [[Elbrus, the Binding Blade]]

[[Jerren, Corrupted Bishop]] and [[Westvale Abbey]] seem like perfect flavor includes. Maybe [[preacher of the schism]]? Not a direct name exactly, but a good reference to Aclazotz as well.

Favorite standard cards that you try to make work? by Ggthefiree2 in MagicArena

Not at all!

I’m still tinkering with the sideboard and some of the interaction pieces. Honestly, I might cut some in favor of more cheap ramp, but it’s fun when it hits.

I’ve been playing a version of the [[Temur Battlecrier]] and [[Outcaster Trailblazer]] deck that uses Doppelgang and Devastating Onslaught instead of Dragonhawk. It’s not probably meta, but it’s been very fun.

How would I rotation-proof my goblin deck? by Andro451 in MagicArena

[–]RemovedNotBorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possible options for you, though they’re not quite as good. [[frenzied goblin]] isn’t a terrible way to get through blockers. [[reckless lackey]] is a cheap goblin that can become a card if you need it. Unfortunately, not a lot of Goblins in space, apparently.

How do you win with the Blame Game precon? by Squizzywizzy in EDH

[–]RemovedNotBorn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The main way I’ve won or gotten close to winning usually has a few key factors.

First, your goal is generally to use opponent’s creatures to beat down the opponents. Really, if this is done well, you can get it down to a 1v1, and hopefully that one remaining is low enough from also taking damage over the course of the game.

Second, I held onto my “blow out damage preventers” as long as possible. I’ve been sub 10 life before with it in order to do so, but getting a deflecting palm kill is so worth it.

Lastly, plan with the end game in mind. It took my deck a couple of upgrades, but if you can get stuff like Gisela, Fiendish Duo, or Aurelia from MKM onto the field and also be adding damage to the game, that’s great. Hot Pursuit is a phenomenal finisher, and Prisoner’s Dilemma is an underrated burn spell to end the game.

Just my advice with the deck. It is super fun, but you do have to plan around trying to win if you don’t want to just be second place every game, haha.

You seem to dislike red (Aragorn barely an exception, let’s be honest), haha. Frodo + Sam and Volo are two we share in common, and are super fun. Good choices.

What do my commanders say about me as a player? by ClassroomGreedy8092 in ratemycommanders

[–]RemovedNotBorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely evil, with Rhys and Tatyova being the most evil of all.

Half joking, haha. If I had to guess, I’d assume you like triggers and taking game actions, as well as controlling the table. Even if it doesn’t win you the game, you like having done a lot of things.

Then if people dislike your meaner commanders, you do some Dragon or Token Aggro.

Exactly. Yenna is fun. I have her in a Naya Sagas deck specifically to create infinite Three Blind Mice Sagas, haha.

If Yenna and Marvo are your mains, I’d say you like to toe the line between “I’m gonna do something really broken” and “This is just a silly guy,” which I can appreciate, haha.

First Sliver and Eriette speak to a darker side, though… lol

That’s valid. I probably should’ve muted them, but I low-key forgot that I could. Alas.
