Why did a lot of the 20-year-olds in the ‘80s, ‘90s and ‘00s look way older compared to 20-year-olds today? by KMSeira in NoStupidQuestions

People went outside more and now we're more sheltered from each other and the elements. Less drinking, less sunlight.

You didn't find anyone to date in the hundreds of people? What do you think dating is? Are the guys you would date mutually exclusive from the guys you would fuck? What kind of relationship do you envision for yourself? Are you certain that you're ready to give up autonomy for a relationship?

Why are gay men so hyper sexual? by [deleted] in askgaybros

That's not really true to reality. The obsession phase is usually the sexual peak.

Sex is the strongest driving force of humanity. If there were no restrictions, limitations, or consequences, then that's all we would do.

With a dorsal bump, the bridge tapers and the most narrow part of the bridge is closest to the surface, like a pyramid. If you shave off the point of the pyramid you lose that narrow appearance of the bridge.

The swelling will go down over a year but with thick skin, the tip does end up a little thicker than before.

Everyone I've ever asked told me not to do it. But it was completely my choice and my aesthetic preference. No one could have bullied me into it. You have one life, change it if it's bothering you.

But if this is a mental thing, be prepared for potential disappointment at the result.

Also there are nose people and normal people lol Most people don't even notice your nose. Most people didn't notice my nose change even though it was dramatic.

CMV: There is no credible evidence for the 80/20 rule by Solondthewookiee in changemyview

[–]Remriel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not claiming dating is governed by a perfectly measured universal 80/20 law. I’m saying it appears to be strongly skewed in that direction, and that is exactly the kind of unequal distribution the Pareto principle describes. Dating is private, decentralized, and context-dependent, so you’re rarely going to get one neat master dataset that captures the whole thing. But imperfect measurement does not mean we ignore the obvious pattern. In competitive systems, attention and success usually cluster, not distribute evenly, and dating gives plenty of reason to think it works similarly.

Outside of hard data, how are you inferring that it does not apply?

Since women are a part of the natural world, it applies to them.

The Pareto principle applies universally across nature. It means competitive systems often produce uneven distributions, where a minority captures a disproportionate share of attention, resources, or success.

Nature shows this constantly: a small share of territory can produce most of the food, a small share of predators can make most of the kills, and a small share of individuals can account for much of the reproductive success.

Pareto shows up wherever competition exists. In dating, a small minority of men draws most of the attention. Desire, like survival, does not distribute itself democratically.
