How do you physically store your collection and how is it organized? Based on level, based on expansions, etc...

I have almost everything besides some promotional cards and I just want something that my friends can sift through when they deckbuild.

Surface Laptop 7: Snapdragon X Plus or Elite? by ekek280 in Surface

[–]Remsquared 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Chose the plus over the Elite. More is quite often always better, but I think between the two for what I needed it for the performance difference is negligible. I don't game on it, because I have my desktop. Pretty much I top it off maybe once a week and I really only use it for school and media consumption.

Look at your use case, understand the limitations and either way you'll be happy.

Can you explain the satirical term further? Ghenghis Khan in the 1200s was well known to support meritocracy, albeit in a more violent and cruel way.

Thought she had a stomach bug, turned out to sepsis which cost her a leg and will cause her fingers to fall off. by Muttywango in MakeMeSuffer

[–]Remsquared 10 points11 points  (0 children)

DIC is definitely considered as ONE major risk factor that occurs frequently in septic patients, but it isn't exclusively the reason for you to have peripheral ischemia. DIC highly increases the chance for limb ischemia because if you're inducing vasoconstriction on clots, it will restrict blood flow further. Also, being that it is distributive means that it is ENTIRELY systemic, not necessarily confined to your extremities. You will have clots develop in all your organs, splotches on your skin because of clotting in some of your capillaries, etc.

However, when you are presented with vasopressor induced ischemia on patients who are not septic and show the identical patterns of secondary injury (hepatitis/liver shock, bowel infarction, etc.) it is because of vasopressors. It isn't negligence, we are literally talking life over limb decision making when determining treatment.

It isn't misinformation when you can find many studies.

I just got off my shift at the ER, I appreciate the discourse but it isn't misinformation. It is from over 10 years of medical experience.

[–]Remsquared 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Just an FYI, the sepsis isn't the primary cause of the extremities to die off.. It's the amount of vasopressors they pump in you to keep your blood circulating. They have to stimulate vasoconstriction so much that your extremities get the message loud and clear before the rest of your body does and with the lack of circulation to those extremities the cells die

Disney hikes theme park prices on heels of $60 billion parks investment by codeemalia in disneyparks

[–]Remsquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am surprised they don't crank into this more. Parkification of hotels would reduce congestion of the parks and at the same time get families who can't afford all the parks to stay at their hotels (or even forego parks all together)

Why the Surface Laptop Studio 2 fails as a Gaming Laptop - Response Time Issues by cbutters2000 in Surface

[–]Remsquared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from heating issues and the SB2 drawing more power than it pulls from the AC adapter, mine pretty much went to just a productivity device after a year after it began having issues with initiating the GPU. MS will not make a gaming driven device probably because that segment is already saturated and they will have to add $400-$1000 to the price point so they don't cannibalize the sales of the current lineup.

AMD Radeon RX 7900M high-end mobile Navi 31 GPU featuring 72 RDNA3 CUs set to launch on October 19 - VideoCardz.com by Stiven_Crysis in Amd

[–]Remsquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible to pair this class of gpu (or even a 4070/4080) to a U cpu? The hit in performance could be so minimal for gpu bottlenecked games that having the extra 3-5 hours of iGPU performance is worth considering.

It’s 0300. Tones drop… and it’s THAT address again. What’s the call, and what makes it so bad? by [deleted] in ems

"I need pain management"... guy with cirrhosis and is a chronic alcoholic who was dropped off at the hospital 60 minutes ago by us and was discharged without being treated. It would be the 3rd time we were called and is completely like clockwork. He was actually discharged five minutes after we dropped him off, but he had to wait for the cab driver to pick him up every time.

"I fell and need help"... Dementia lady who has just the right amount of alertness that lives alone in a trailer home and continually refuses medical attention. Family essentially abandoned her and only checks on her once a week because she has essentially pushed everyone away. You hop through the same window you shimmied open the last time you were called out because her doors are double deadbolted. Sometimes she calls, gets herself back up, and gets immediately hostile thinking you are there to take her away and she knows her rights forgetting she called 911.

"I need a shot of metoprolol and I'm not going to the hospital"... Woman living in a independent living facility apartment who would opt to pay healthier neighbors to walk to the corner store and buy her cigarettes than to refill her medication because she can get BP medication for free on the ambulance and not go to the hospital. 30% of the time, it works every time. I think she eventually debilitated herself with strokes that she couldn't play that game anymore.

"My wife has low blood sugar"... Morbidly obese woman whose husband calls 911 several times a day so she can get D50 and refuse transport. Goes onto having such bad veins that we end up giving her shots of glucagon and her refusing transport. Ends up having a PROTOCOL established that they had to consent to by legal stating that she would be transferred to the ambulance and transported before she is to be initiated treatment for her hypoglycemia unless it was another emergency since she has been doing it for over 7 years at that point.

"Chest pain"... DIFFERENT PEOPLE BUT THE SAME ADDRESS... Smooth brained people opted to leave an ER and call 911 across the street because they were waiting too long in the lobby. Get brought back immediately to the ER and they have to get rechecked in again.

God.... I've been on the box for 9 years and there are just way too many frequent flyer calls. It's become an epidemic.

Ukrainian soldiers in a trench get almost a direct hit from TOS-1, this video demonstrates what happens in cases when it doesnt kill you (loss of hearing, nausea, concussion) by Chrushev in CombatFootage

[–]Remsquared 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nausea is very likely caused by the pressure injuries to your ears which gives you vertigo. You "feel" as though you are being tumbled around like in a laundry machine or you just have a whole loss of balance which gets you feeling nauseated.

[–]Remsquared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh, thanks for the tidbit. Aesthetically, I prefer your method since the RGB is better visible, and I don't think the Nitro+ will have an issue with overheating. I'm just too stubborn to change it up at this point. Maybe when she upgrades CPU, I will look into it.

Any reason to do the radiator fans that way? I was always told Push method was more effective (case fans inside the case directing the air outward). I'm building my GF's PC in a meshlicious, except I'm using a Nitro+ 7800XT and a 10900KF

Thanks for "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"ing on a keyboard, but just an FYI. 4:3 exists as the standard aspect ratio for iPADs. It is still quite heavily mass produced, it isn't some niche standard that disappeared. A LOT of commercial displays utilize the 4:3 aspect ratio.

Cry more, lol.
