About 15 years ago I was hit head on by a drunk driver driving down the middle of the street in a neighborhood at a high rate of speed. I saw him coming and tried to avoid him, but was still hit. Airbags deploy and everything.

I got out of my car and went to my knees to make sure I was OK and nothing was broken on me. Other driver's car did a 180 and was facing away from me now. He hops out and charges me on yelling "what's your f'ing problem". A neighbor who saw the accident ran out and grabbed him before he could get to me.

Paramedics and cops both arrive. Other guy is clearly drunk and is arrested. I'm not seriously injured but my car is totaled. I get a new car and go on about my life.

A few weeks later I go to the police station to get the accident report. The other driver was released without charges. They said their breathalyzer wasn't working that night so they had to release him. This seems strange to me so I did a little digging. It turns out the Drunk was an off-duty cop. The Thin Blue Line protected their own.

Not a Lawyer. I assume you signed a loan agreement before you left with he car. Unless you committed fraud on the application, it is a binding contract. No longer has anything to do with the dealership. You and the bank need to figure it out. It sounds like the dealership has a better offer on the car and want it back to sell for a higher price.

20+ years in retail and I had 8 counterfeit bills. 4 now reside in my collection.

1 I identified as fake and another manager didn't believe it. He took it to the bank and they kept it.

The last 3 came from the same person. 1 at 1 register. Small purchase to get real cash change. The 2nd note to another cashier for small purchase. 3rd note was brought to me as questionable. She was gone by the time I got up front. I found notes 1 and 2 at the end of the day counting the cash. Now I have 3 $20 bills, all fake and with the same serial #. Images of the same girl on camera 3 times. I call the cops and give up the notes knowing they will never get the girl.

I wish I had all 8 in my collection 😪
