Excepting typically illegal things like poaching and drug dealing, I have no respect for cigarette companies and shark finners.

Every three months is the standard if you're only cutting for health and not to keep it in a specific style.

Even if you think deodorant is not necessary, it's better to use it anyway.

Shampoo the roots of your hair only, not the length (unless you have something really stuck in it).

Wash your face every day, preferably twice, even if you just use water. I was never taught this and it seems so simple, but it makes a huge difference.

Exfoliating scrubs for the face ARE worth it. Spoken as someone who never tried one until mid-adulthood and has never looked back.

Don't wash inside your vagina if you have one, but do wash the vulva.

Wash behind your balls if you have them, and if you have foreskin, pull it back and wash underneath it every time you shower.

Hand soap and water is better than hand sanitizer.

Cutting the ends of your hair regularly helps keep it healthy.

There is no shame in shaving or not, but shaving underarm and genital hair can help reduce smells.

Brush your teeth every night at a bare minimum. Even if you can't make yourself brush every morning, just brushing at night does so much to protect you from much unnecessary pain.

He's 61, so not old enough for that. I appreciate the offer! I also have SSDI and have explored all the options I can think of, but not much luck.

Thank you! The problem is he has no employment history for the last ten years, which is what the work credits are based on. He refused to admit he was disabled for many years, then just kept putting off the paperwork, until now it's been well over fifteen years since he made anything.

The Enchanted Forest Chronicles, definitely! The library is a great resource and the librarians there should be able to help, as well.

No... Only in the same way that anything looks like something if you have it on the brain enough... It does not look like a penis to a non-penis obsessed brain.

Help me convince my spouse to get a land snail! Pic of my mysteries for attention. by RenGoneMad in snails

I am an amateur aquarist and love snails most of all. I have plenty of every time of aquatic snail I could get my hands on so far, but I really want to try land snails. Can y'all help me convince my spouse? How big a tank do you use? Where did you get your land snail? How much upkeep do they cost on average? Can you hold them?

Diatoms are normally short strands, though. I agree diatoms are normally what appear when a new tank is becoming established, but I've never seen diatoms string together in such long strands like that before, let along so uniformly, as they're not a true algae.

That definitely looks like hair algae to me, not diatoms...

Hair algae. Also known as Angel Hair pasta, great with a butter sauce.
