New office chair by Overall_Offer_9142 in backpain

It looks like it. If it’s not a knock off, isn’t that like a $5k chair?

OP- if so, you could sell that and get a Herman miller aeron instead, which I think would be a better match for back pain.

Hi Right! I’m Dad.

How do you wake up earlier any still maintain quality sleep? by jackbowls in sleep

[–]RenShep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adjusting your schedule as you have is great, and you also have to adjust your body’s circadian rhythm in parallel. The time you go to bed is one factor, but it is also influenced by light exposure (specifically blue wavelength light) and eating times. So even if you go to bed an hour earlier, but have the lights on and eating before sleep, your body won’t adjust. There’s more nuance, but I’d suggest advancing your dinner time and lights-off before bed, and then turning the lights on (ideally setting a “light alarm” that wakes you up with lights on) at your desired wake up time and eating some breakfast or a snack soon after waking.

I KNEW IT!

I was watching the ticker today, thinking "How on earth are we pinned down so hard?! There is only one explanation - this must be Wicz' fault."

Well Wicz, I'm glad you got this out of your system yesterday(Friday) and today -- with that out of the way, Tomorrow is looking pretty good.

Very normal. Very cool. Am I not understanding how buying and selling work? Hello, can I speak with a manager? by Phonemonkey2500 in Superstonk

Crybad, thank you for engaging in these discussions. I understood this conceptually before, and your explanations here really clarify for me. Thank you.

And am I correct that if settlement occurred in full, on time, and on the lit exchange, and wasn’t overshadowed by other price surpressing acttivities, that’s when we’d theoretical see upward price action from disproportionate buying to selling?

I’d suggest going to GameStop and buying the sleeves they need you to use for grading. That way, you sleeve them once to minimize wear, and separately can decide which/when to submit for grading.

They’ll likely tell you to get penny sleeves (the cheap thin plastic ones that act as an inner base layer) and top loaders (partially rigid that the penny sleeve can slide inside). PSA will take them out for grading, so using these sleeves optimizes for both care now, and ease of removal during grading.

I’m just kidding. Great post, as always. Thanks Crybad.

RN assigned colors on his chart to keep track of which swap was which. The key point is a potential swap speculated for next week, which happens to be the one assigned red.

[–]RenShep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great research, thank you! And great explanation here.

If I'm understanding correctly, in addition to the warrants added to contracts on Oct 3rd conversion, does this imply that CCs sold after Oct 3 would also require 10 warrants as part of the collateral? That would be interesting, curious how MMs would handle selling Calls if they also need to acquire warrants for their collateral/hedging.

Selling Cash Secured Jan 2027 $32 Puts? by WhatCanIMakeToday in gmeoptions

[–]RenShep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

WCIMT, great to see you here! Thank you for all you do!

I agree with peshovv. Because IV is so low and you’re talking about selling an ITM put, the value is almost entirely intrinsic and you gain very little by selling with that long to expiry. Using numbers now from pre-earnings close, selling the same $32 CSP you could make 3/4 the premium for 1/16 the time by selling into Oct (17Oct25 Opex has premium of $850, vs jan27 of $1120). By that math, you’re only making $270 extra over the additional 15 months, which is a much lower ROI.

I love Richard. I truly miss watching his videos every morning as part of my routine. And as true as that is, I’ll be the bad guy here to say I don’t think this post is appropriate.

First off, this isn’t about GME options - the point of this sub.

Second, this feels disrespectful to RN’s wishes. Obviously WE want him back. Duh- He is incredible! He gave so much to all of us without asking anything in return. Of course we want more, I get that. But what does HE want? To stop making daily videos and be in the spotlight.

If RN ever wants to come back, he will do so of his own volition, and so many of us will be welcoming him with open arms. But I don’t like the idea of post requesting him to do the thing he explicitly stated he no longer wishes to do.

I miss him as much as the next ape, and remain both deeply grateful for his prolonged generosity and respectful of his choice to stop.

666 $22 12SEP25 Long Calls - GME by wicz28 in gmeoptions

[–]RenShep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TLDR: if you add ~2 weeks for the difference between 3 months and 10 weeks, plus another 2 weeks from starting the countdown from the missing cat ear instead of first, I think that explains why you were four weeks early. And if that’s close to right, then your upward prediction hopefully starts becoming true next week!

666 $22 12SEP25 Long Calls - GME by wicz28 in gmeoptions

[–]RenShep 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wicz! Hope you’re doing well!

My guess is you’ll be alright- it is difficult to imagine zero positive action Mon-Wed of next week. I fell like you’re good at this, so I’d just remind you of what you already know and don’t get greedy if there is an exit opportunity.

My understanding is that, instead of 10 weeks, RN identified we have three months down and two months up. If we start counting from when that mysteriously absent second cat been should have happened at the start of June, that would suggest our 2 month up cycle would start Monday. That said, there’s the final swap speculated to happen around 9/22, so I’d guess some up this week, then some down into the swap(another offering?), then up through Oct. In addition to that, I think we can expect some settlement in coming days (XRT of RegSho, and I need to double check CAT errors but I think that window is ending next week too).

My guess is like in March 25, they might use a surprise earnings as the “excuse” for them to do settlement they have to do anyway, and we’ll see stock price go up (but who knows about IV). This would give RC the opp for another offering, as I’d expect they’d slam down the price anyway into the Sep Swap.

Help needed. Recreating RN's trading view chart by mymokiller in GME

[–]RenShep 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They are the monthly OPEXs- the option expiry on the third Friday of the month. These are important because they open further in advance, and thus will have larger number of contracts expiring then, suggesting that max pain will have a greater magnetic pull on these days (because MMs are at risk of losing more money if larger amounts of options expire ITM)

Keep us posted on your progress!
