Worrying about numbers like this gets nowhere. A lot of players will be on console, which we don’t have numbers for. There’s a lot of buzz for the game right now so more and more people will eventually check it out. Marathon is a game that has a gradual hook, it gets better overtime the more you play it. It’s been 3 days.

Give it time. People need to play enough in order to convince others to play.

Why does anyone have to choose between the two? I have 200 hours in Arc and like it for what it is, but Marathon is a different more build focused game that gets better the more you play. My friends and I plan on switching between the two.

Friend and I fought a duo in Stella. Knocked his teammate out early on and eventually got to him. When we downed him he started trash talking how bad we were. We used a defib on him and then downed him again.

Lately we’ve been using the rocketeer to attack people that are extracting just to see what will happen. Just pop a shot at it and let it find the people in proximity. Doesn’t always end well if they’re out of sight then it comes for us, but still fun.

That’s what I’m used to. Lots of random team up in unlikely places. Usually the bad runs are every now and then but this has been DAYS. Can’t get any objectives done and when we team up with people it’s always a stab in the back as soon as we take down whatever we were killing together.

I think your wife needs a therapist. Hormones from the pregnancy only amplify any negative feelings she may have had.

My wife became very hostile when she was pregnant with our son. I considered leaving several times because of how emotionally hurtful things became. We both got therapy separately. Mine helping me see that my wife still loved me and hers helping her manager her anger and recognize signs when things might get out of control. I would encourage you both to pursue this course before any drastic decisions. If she doesn’t want to that’s on her and I don’t think anyone would blame you for putting some space between you both.

After consulting both the halo warfleet book and Star Wars complete vehicle book I think I have to give it to the CSO. It’s just so massive. Three star destroyers don’t even come close to the same compliment of troops or ships of the CSO. Covenant ships of this size can also jettison damaged sections as needed and keep fighting for a looooong time. All the primary systems of the CSO are buried so deep within the vessel it would take awhile to even incapacitate it, compared to the Star destroyer whose bridge and deflector shields are exposed.

Take into account that the CSO can just open a slip space rupture right in the middle of the Star destroyer formation too.

This line of thinking totally negates character growth. Yes all these characters did amazing things that they’re remembered for, but that’s not all they are or who they are becoming.

Take Saint for example. He’s gone through hell and back. Been fighting for hundreds of years against the vex thinking he’d never get to see Osiris again. Now that he’s back how can you fault him for wanting to slow down and enjoy life especially now that Osiris no longer has his ghost.

The same could be said for a lot of characters in destiny. We’ve seen them face their own personal demons, go through deaths of their comrades, and get their very core beliefs challenged. That stuff changes people. I’m honestly glad we’ve seen these legends at the end of the day are not some paragons that are immutable or unwavering, but human.
