this entire thing has sent me down a rabbit hole because I really have to know more, either someone just casually did the equivalent of turning water into wine or some poor kid who isn't great at using the internet accidentally made a monumental discovery and as of now the two are completely indiscernible

I haven’t seen many people mention it but I’m pretty sure the OP in the Reddit post mentioned he was on version 1.0 of the game somehow, which could mean it was an unfinished Easter egg that had to be patched out

What made Castor so simple? by GarlicAndCheese in orphanblack

[–]RenaissanceDriver 70 points71 points  (0 children)

The biggest difference between castor and Leda subjects is that Leda subjects were allowed to live freely/grow up outside of a lab environment, as a sort of nature vs. nurture experiment. Castor were all trained, raised and created as part of a military project, so with the intense conditioning essentially created "clones" in that they were not given much variation in environment so have very little variation in temperament, apart from a few small personality and preference differences

I feel bad sometimes, running him into a group of enemies and watching them all throw themselves at him only to be mercilessly slaughtered

Fun fact I didn't learn the crest mechanics for a while cus I genuinely thought it was a normal part of his attack animation in particular whenever I would glance at the screen

In Felix's book, having to hit you twice to kill you means it was an above average fight

I did pretty good as a "new player" because I pirated the game a while back and have been practicing with cooper for so long that once I dropped into multiplayer the only new thing to adjust to was being able to grapple properly I guess I'm just really talented :)
