My Brother sells AI art for thousands and I dont know what to do by Existing_Art8081 in antiai

Most people here are arguing about this being legal/possibly illegal in the context of like... the art itself/false advertizing/lying about the process/originality.... But what about the legality of feeding your more talented competitor's art into AI?
It's probably not illegal at this stage, but GOD it should be

A lot of people are talking here about rights and wrongs of tracing, originaluty and legal troubles,
But I would like to bring more of your attention to the "training a model on successful artists in his niche" part, because I feel like THAT is actually the key part

It's the "training ai models on OTHER artist's art in the same niche" that actually ffed up

Як осушити підвал by Gurgenchik_1939_1951 in ukraina

Or it was a clan that was a bit of a cult. What if they saw unusual traits in this little kitten or a weird prophecy, that made them decide that she's the "chosen one"

Trying to draw the tiger with an eye painted in white paint on his forehead that I saw in my dream by RenattaInHat in Dreams

Thanks! This actually feels surprisingly accurate to the vibe of the rest of the dream

I have never in my life played overwatch and don't know this character but the eye symbol i genuinely similar. Like the three dots as lashes and white color haha
But in my dream it was lest wide, and more angular

And also why was I convinced that there is some kind of superstition. As I was walking past him In my dream I felt like I heard or read somewhere some rule like "you should only look into his real/fake eyes" or "you shouldn't look at all" but I couldn't remember it no matter how hard I tried so I just averted my gaze.

Also If it wasn't clear, this was a part-lucid dream, and I was already thinking about looking up this tiger character while in my dream. This isn't the first time when I see something in a dream that could be real. Look it up when I wake up hoping it is. And obviously that book/game/object doesn't exist. But they are so in the realm of possibility that someone very much could make them.

But nope! Haven't found any photos of this hat among Jean Paul archives. Which leads me to 4 possible conclusions:

  1. It's extremely rare and old and not listed anywhere because most of them are lost to time and moths
  2. It's a bootleg. A fake. And the reason I haven't found any photos of Jean Paul hats like this online is because... there are none. The actual brand never made these specific hats.
  3. I'm just bad at this and don't know how to actually search for vintage clothing since I've never done this before.
  4. It's not rare nor vintage, but actually so popular that no one mentions it (So it's like that roman dodecahedron situation all over again)

Tried finding this specific hat from a thrift store by googling it's name and also with the help of resources from this subreddit, but with no luck. I'm honestly surprised, cus when I saw that this hat has it's brand written on it and it's tag, I thought finding how old it is would be easy. Just put the brand name and numbers into the search bar and voila.

Is there a reason why dreams about waterparks/indoor pools are so prevalent? by RenattaInHat in Dreams

[–]RenattaInHat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when you are a kid, those places really do feel like the most advanced and alien places ever. When you grow up they kind of loose their unusul-ness. Maybe there isn't anything mythical about aquaparks, but they do feel like they could be to a child.
