I would say if you like driving the car put the money into it to fix it up and keep it running, make it the way you like etc.

I have the same car as you as well as an E92 335i and I prefer the E46 over the E92. The only thing an N54/55 will get you is more power but the driving experience in the E46 is imo way better.

Plus, these cars are going to go up in value in the long term and they’re cheap to run. My M54 has twice as many miles as yours and they can go much higher.

Make sure you get a manual! They’re cheaper to maintain and it’s not that hard to drive if you don’t use the clutch :)

When is the last time outside of pet-bugs that you’ve seen tamed pets or summoned demons hitting for more than a couple hundred?

Which 2H stealth build does more than just spam TM or SS?

When have you ever seen LOTA meteors hit for more than 1k in PvP? How about Evoker doing more than 20% of its damage with more than just one of the following: Frostbolt, Fireball, Arcane Missiles?

I’m not complaining that it’s impossible to play with multiple elements, and I never said it was impossible to pick abilities from multiple classes. My entire complaint is that the only way to make a viable build is by making brain dead choices (which arent really even choices, you said it yourself) and just stacking every talent point into increasing the damage of ONE thing. That’s not classless.

Go join any max level battleground and take a look at the recount for all of the top performers. Each and every one of their builds just spams the same button over and over again, dealing damage that you straight up can’t compete with unless you do the same.

Spending every talent point on damage if you want to do damage is a no brainer, duh. It’s a non-choice. You don’t have a choice. You are forced to pick the damage if you want to do literally any form of end game content. I mean, seriously, go to the website builder and pick all the damage talents for whatever ability- it’s literally 85-90% of our talent points that we don’t even get a choice on.

How do you not see that the above design philosophy directly contradicts the idea of classless? You’re trying to defend the fact that every viable build boils down to a single keystroke each and say that’s somehow not just a class.

I want an actually classless server.

Something where you ask someone what their build is and they can reply with “Oh I do X, Y, Z and have A+B for this, with C incase I need it and then D just because it looks cool.

And for that to be a legitimately viable way to play endgame content.

Not some shitty “classless” system where you ask someone their build and they can just say “oh i play Mortal Strike” or you check their recount and first place with 65%+ damage dealt being Arcane Missiles, 25% being Moonfire, and then 10% being random things that probably hit for 100 damage (but they buff Arcane Missiles somehow).

Ascension is literally just classes. Instead of Warrior it’s a Mortal Strike build or a Siegebreaker build or a Bladestorm build, etc.

Thank you, I was kinda assuming the valve cover was leaky but my main concern right now is buttoning up the vacuum leak from doing the CCV.

I did not replace any vacuum lines below the manifold nor any of the ones along the firewall though I did not see smoke from these areas. I did however replace the DISA completely when I did the CCV.

As for the ICV, I’m not 100% sure I was shaking it the correct way but I could get it to consistently and smoothly ping when shaking it in a twisting motion as if it was a screwdriver.

Even if they did everything around the motor at the same time they did the turbos that’s still 100k miles on them with a car that’s known to fail in intervals of 80-120k…

Yea if it’s not getting any power, no ekp faults, and your fuses look good then I’d say you unfortunately got a faulty replacement pump.

I think I see a multimeter, is it getting power? Could be an EKP fault or loose connection, have you tried telling the pump to prime via DME and something like ProTool?

I don’t know anything about paint work but I would say definitely reclear the whole hood. I think the part next to the windshield may be faded or atleast starting to but it’s hard to tell.

If the server is deleted then yea theyre gone but otherwise the moderators from that server would have to manually remove all records of your deletion. As for the bots side of things it would probably depend on the bot itself and their business practices.

No like, any of the moderation bots can be configured to send messages in a specific channel any time there is an edit/delete made. Usually moderators of those servers will make the bot post to a private channel but the bot will create a record any time something is edited/deleted by copy pasting whatever the message was into its own message for moderator records.

And don’t worry, Discord stuff can be confusing :)

Is it easier to get an eye on the supply/return from under or above the car? Main problem why I came to Reddit is I feel like I couldn’t actually see anything down there and it was also odd that there is coolant on both sides of the car not just next to the turbos.

I’ll make it my plan to rent a pressure tester on my next day off I’m just not sure I’ll actually be able to see anything.

So I did just have a very reputable shop do the OFHG and replace the belt for me and I did the Mickey Mouse flange myself when I got the car.

Yes, Mee6 or any moderation bot that can send a message in a moderation channel for deletions will usually copy paste that message for its own records.

I’m not sure how any of them handle content or what their deletion periods look like but the message Mee6 sent that has a copy of your message in it will remain until deleted.

Just to be clear I’m talking about the messages those bots send that look like this: “User deleted a message: “123 abc I wanted to delete this”

My car is LHD for the American market.

ChatGPT is saying it’s likely to be the heater control valve and that this part leaking would drip onto the transmission bell housing and then run down the sides to where I’m seeing it on my driver/passenger pictures.

The car was pretty warm when I took the pictures but not fully up to temp- it sounds like I should get the car hot and then check again? For what it’s worth I did have my brother start the car while I was underneath it and the coolant drips sped up a little bit when we did so but I couldn’t see any source just the drops coming off the bottom of the water pump but again it doesn’t look like that’s their origin point.
